‘Vanderpump Rules’: Was Kristen Doute Invited To Stassi Schroeder’s Wedding?
Doute revealed that she was invited to Schroeder’s wedding and even shared a photo with Schroeder on Instagram. “I was invited to the wedding after all! #FromDarkToClark,” Doute captioned the image. Schroeder replied, “I just choked laughing.”
Schroeder and Beau Clark took fans by surprise when Schroeder revealed she and Clark married in September. “Today would’ve been our wedding day,” she shared on Instagram. “We went and did it anyway. Married sept 2020. Hopefully Italian dream wedding oct 2021.”
Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder came together after they were fired
Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Schroeder finished the season on a bad note with Doute. They felt that Doute misled and deceived them about her relationship with former boyfriend Brian Carter.
However, Schroeder and Doute were fired for racist actions during the season 8 reunion. Doute and Schroeder falsely called the cops on former cast member and SUR server Faith Stowers, who is Black. Bravo took swift action firing a total of four Vanderpump Rules cast members for racism.
An anonymous source told US Weekly the trauma of being fired brought the former friends back together. “Stassi and Kristen are friends at this point,” according to the source. “The two of them are going through this together and the experience has brought them closer together again.”
Katie Maloney-Schwartz is also in a better place with Doute
Maloney-Schwartz, who was also feuding with Doute, recently shared on her podcast, You’re Gonna Love Me she is in a better place with Doute.
“I’m not gonna speak for Stassi, even though I know a lot of our feelings are aligned on things,” Maloney-Schwartz said. “But, you know, Stassi and Kristen just got fired or it was announced that they weren’t returning at the time.”
“Before that Kristen and I obviously had like a bit of a falling out last summer,” she continued. “The last year had been really rough on our friendship, our relationship, we weren’t talking.”
Maloney-Schwartz admitted she couldn’t see how they’d find their way back to each other. “I was just like, maybe one day, but like, I’m just so not there,” she shared. “It just felt like we were on completely different pages. And then when all this sh*t went down. It was just like, everything sort of just became petty to me, like our drama.”
“And I just saw my friend who has been like a sister to me for 10 years,” she added. “Struggling and hurting and just wanted to be there for her. And it kind of like became an icebreaker. So I don’t know what it’s going to take for Jax and Tom to get to that place, because I think, I think I’m not going to say what they’re going through is petty, but I think it’s just stubbornness.”
