When it comes to the cast of Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, it’s hard to know who is on good terms. From season to season, the friendships on the show continue to ebb and flow. One person who seems to continually have issues with other cast members is Lala Kent.
This season, the object of Kent’s aggression is newcomer Billie Lee.

Where Did the Tension Start?
If you’ve been watching season 7 of Vanderpump Rules, then you’ve probably noticed the tension between Kent and Lee. The animosity between the two of them seemed to come out of nowhere.
The first notable issue that the two had was during SUR’s meeting to discuss Lisa Vanderpump firing SUR DJ James Kennedy for his comments towards women who worked in the restaurant.
During the conversation, Lee brought up the fact that she felt like fellow castmate Kristen Doute was a trigger for Kennedy and that she shouldn’t be allowed to come to the restaurant events. Kent quickly defended Doute and the two got into a screaming match over the topic.
Apparently, the tension between the two girls goes deeper than just whether Doute is allowed in the restaurant or not.
“Billie is just a very strange person,” Lala said on The Daily Dish podcast. “I think she likes to stir the pot; I think she’s looking for her five minutes and I gave that to her, so she’s welcome, you know. I say what’s up to her, I tell her she looks chic, ’cause she does, and I always speak the truth. Even if I don’t care for you and you look good, I’ll tell you you look good. But yeah, I don’t have much to say about her; I think she’s an extra on our show and she shows up and does a great job as such.”
Who is Billie Lee?
Lee joined the Vanderpump Rules squad in 2018. At first, she was just a background cast member, but after Lee shared her transgender transition story at Vanderpump’s Pride event, she moved into more of a regular role on the show.
Lee’s move to Los Angeles was monumental in her transition.
“One day, I was telling my story to someone at a bar, and they were like, ‘Honey, you’re trans.’ And I was like, ‘What?!’ It really clicked at that moment,” Lee told Too Fab. “So I got a therapist just to make sure, and I started hormones.”
Since her transition, Lee has become more comfortable with herself.
She says that her parents have supported her since day 1 and are her biggest fans. She also notes that Vanderpump has been a big supporter of her as well.
Though Lee is new to the show, this feud that she has going with Kent will certainly ensure that she receives more air time as the season goes on.
We will have to wait to see how the feud between the girls pans out.
