‘Vanderpump Rules’: When Are Jax and Brittany Getting Married? Their Wedding Is Only Weeks Away
It’s almost time for a Vanderpump Rules wedding. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright will tie the knot later this month in her home state of Kentucky. But first, they let loose at a joint bachelor/bachelorette party in Miami. The soon-to-be-married couple partied on the beach with castmates Stassi Schroeder, Scheana Shay, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, Kristen Doute, Peter Madrigal, and Lala Kent.
The group bachelor/bachelorette party was a success
The Miami celebration was actually the second bachelor/bachelorette party for both Taylor and Cartwright. The bride-to-be also celebrated in April in Kentucky, while the groom had a party in L.A. in May with 40 guests, including Lance Bass, according to Bravo.
Since this was the second party for each, the couple decided to spend it together doing group activities, a source told E! News. That included donning some nautical-inspired outfits for a day at sea and, of course, hitting the clubs.
The wedding is June 29
Now that the bachelor/bachelorette parties are out of the way, the couple can say “I Do” on Saturday, June 29. The big event will happen at the lavish Kentucky Castle in Versailles, Kentucky, where the typical wedding costs $100 per person.
Cartwright’s Pump Rules co-stars Shay, Doute, and Kent will all be bridesmaids, in addition to some of her Kentucky friends and Taylor’s sister. Madrigal and Sandoval are among the guys who will be standing up with Taylor. Both bride and groom will have 12 attendants each, for a massive, 24-person wedding party.
With the ceremony just a couple of weeks away, both Cartwright and Taylor are managing the last details that come with getting married. Taylor tweeted a photo of the garment bag with his wedding threads and also gave his followers a glimpse at the envelope containing the wedding invites.
The wedding bands were designed by Kyle Chan, who also designed Cartwright’s engagement ring, US Weekly reported. At the ceremony, the couple will honor Taylor’s father Ronald Cauchi, who died in 2017. After the wedding, Cartwright will also change her last name Cauchi, Taylor’s real surname.
As for what Cartwright’s wedding dress looks like, that remains a closely guarded secret. While Vanderpump Rules fans got to see her try on dresses this season, she wants her gown to be a surprise.
The theme for the ceremony decor will be classic white elegance, Cartwright told Cosmo, while the reception will be more fun and colorful. The bridesmaids will wear dresses from Wtoo by Watters.
Who will be at the wedding?
Cartwright and Taylor haven’t revealed a lot about the guest list, though we do know that many of their Pump Rules co-stars will be there as part of the wedding party. But at least three people won’t be in attendance. Doute clarified that James Kennedy, Raquel Leviss, and Billie Lee didn’t make the cut — not a big surprise considering their tense relationship with the rest of the cast.
