“Vanderpump Rules’: Why Did Lala Kent Delete All of The Pictures of Her Fiance Randall Emmett From Her Instagram?
Lala Kent’s relationship with film producer, Randall Emmett has been a topic of conversation since the moment that she began appearing on Vanderpump Rules.
For the longest time, she wouldn’t reveal the identity of her boyfriend and only referred to him as “my man” due to the fact that he wasn’t actually divorced when they first started dating. This made the rest of the cast weary of Kent and wonder how she was flying in private jets and driving nice cars on a hostess’ salary.
Since then, Emmett and Kent’s relationship has experienced many highs and lows, accumulating in a proposal.
Emmett asked Kent to spend forever with him while celebrating her 28th birthday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
“This weekend has been an amazing one for the two of us!” she told People of her proposal. “It was definitely the most romantic moment of my life. Every detail of the surprise was stunning and I’m still in shock.”
Even after he popped the question, Kent couldn’t believe she was actually engaged to Emmett.
“I keep looking down at my ring finger,” she told the outlet. “I’m just so happy to say we are officially engaged. We are so excited to start planning the rest of our lives together and I’m excited to put as much detail as Randall did in our engagement into our wedding!”
Why did Kent delete photos of Emmett?
Recently, fans noticed that Kent went through her Instagram and deleted every photo of her fiance. People immediately began to wonder if there was trouble in paradise.
Last week, Kent finally answered the question.
“I’ve been with this man 3 and half years,” she captioned a photo of the two of them on Instagram. “We’ve been through hell and back together. He is my soulmate, a part of who I am. The day I met him I knew I wanted to protect him forever. Sometimes things don’t go exactly as I plan. People are hurtful. They create entertainment off of your pain. I get it, it’s what I signed up for. I don’t feel he did.”
“In a moment of feeling protective, angry, and impulsive, I deleted every photo of him, including the moment we got engaged. I felt what people were saying was so unfair and I’m the one that put him out there like that. He is the love of my life. He is kind, and thoughtful, and everything you want when you’re thinking of your future partner. It is a privilege to be around him. No matter what anyone will ever have to say, this is my boo. This is our life. Rand, I will always protect you. 4.18.2020 I’m locking you down for life.”
This isn’t the first time that Kent has tried to “protect” her man by keeping him out of the limelight. Emmett famously does not appear on Vanderpump Rules like the rest of the cast’s significant others, which has been a point of contention among Kent and the show’s other stars.
But as far as social media goes, it seems like Kent may be back to showing off her beau as usual, as she also posted a photo of her and Emmett at Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s wedding.
