Was Justin Bieber’s Cheating the Reason He and Selena Gomez Called It Quits for Good

Everyone knows that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were one of the hottest young celebrity couples of the 2010s.

Though they maintained an on-and-off again relationship, the couple was always able to find their way back to each other.

After splitting a final time in 2018, many have been wondering what was it that made Bieber and Gomez call it quits for good?

There have been a few speculations surrounding their split, the main one that many believe lead to their split has been cheating accusations.

Many believe that cheating was the main reason Gomez and Bieber split

It’s been a year since Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez called it quits for good after being together for eight years.

Though the couple was known for splitting up and getting back together, they eventually came to the realization that being in a relationship wasn’t good for either of them.

Many fans believed that the couple’s hectic schedules were the reason for their on-and-off again relationship.

Though many factors could have played a part in their ongoing splits, the main speculation surrounding their break up happened to be cheating accusations.

The couple has been faced with cheating rumors for most of their relationship and the former couple would usually choose to stay mum on the accusations.

It wasn’t until 2015 when Bieber unexpectedly admitted that cheating had crossed his mind in the past.

“We were working out how to be in a relationship, how to be ourselves, who we were, in the middle of having people judge our relationship through the media. I think that really messed my head up too,” Bieber told i-D . “Because then, it’s like trust and all this other stuff that starts messing with your mind. You’re on the road. And there are beautiful women on the road. And you’re just getting yourself into trouble.”

The cheating accusations were brought back up the following year after Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez got into a heated exchange on social media.

After Selena Gomez called her former flame out for cheating on her “multiple times,” Bieber hit back with his own cheating accusation.

Taylor Swift might have recently confirmed the accusations

Though Taylor Swift has nothing to do with Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s relationship, there is a possibility the singer recently confirmed the ongoing cheating rumors.

This past weekend, the singer found herself in yet another feud with celebrity manager, Scooter Braun.

Swift recently took to Tumblr to call out Braun for withholding the rights to her music after she has asked him countless times to give her ownership over her work.

Swift wrote in a lengthy post that she was “sad and grossed out” over the sale of her music catalog and accused Braun of “incessant, manipulative bullying.”

After her post went viral, Justin Bieber took it upon himself to comment on the situation and defend Braun, who has been representing him for years.

In an Instagram post, Bieber called out Taylor Swift by writing, “Scooter has had your back since the days you graciously let me open up for you.” He also claimed it “isn’t fair” for Swift to share her post on social media and “get people to hate on Scooter.”

After sharing his post, fans immediately began calling out Bieber and one post, in particular, drew a ton of attention.

“‘We haven’t gotten to communicate our differences.’ You cheated on her best friend and then publicly sided with the man who made revenge porn against her was she supposed to invite you over for tea??? F–k outta here,” one Tumblr user posted, citing a line from Bieber’s Instagram post and referring to Kanye West’s “Famous” video.

Later on, that same user shared a screenshot of Taylor Swift liking the post.

Many have been assuming that the “best friend” the post was referring to was Selena Gomez and by Swift liking it confirmed that the cheating rumors were, in fact, true.
