Was Meghan Markle Just Caught in a Lie About Life Before Prince Harry?

Meghan Markle may have just been caught in a lie related to her life before Prince Harry. The actress reportedly told a journalist that Ashley Cole tried to get with her before she met Prince Harry in 2016. The former footie’s brother, however, says that the reports are absolutely untrue and that Cole never tried to spark up a romance with the Suits alum.

Did Cole try hard to snag Markle?

Meghan Markle allegedly revealed to a journalist that Cole tried to win her over in 2013 by writing to her on Twitter. The move was reportedly a desperate attempt to get Markle’s attention, which obviously did not work.

In light of the allegations, Cole’s brother, Matty Cole, says that he never contacted Markle in 2013 and that the entire story was made up so that the future Duchess of Sussex could get in the tabloids.

“It’s nonsense, completely made up. He definitely wouldn’t have to beg Meghan Markle for a date,” he shared.

According to The Sun, Cole’s brother added that Meghan Markle is not his type of girl and that he never had a thing for her. It should be noted that Markle has never gone on record saying that Cole reached out to her on social media.

The report, meanwhile, comes after Markle admitted that she is having a rough time with the British tabloids. Markle has faced a lot of negative press over the past two years, and that coverage has not gotten any better since the birth of her first child, Archie Harrison.

Is Meghan Markle manipulating the tabloids?

The recent confessions by Markle follow claims by an editor that she was begging for tabloid coverage prior to meeting Prince Harry.

And in October, television host Lizzie Cundy claimed that Markle was a very manipulative person when they were still friends. In fact, Cundy says that Markle has been acting completely different now that she is a part of the royal family.

We don’t know if these reports are true, but Katie Hind, who works for The Mail, recently revealed that Meghan Markle’s publicist tried very hard to get her an interview for their publication.

Hind says that Markle was very interested in boosting her popularity in England and her publicist begged her for a short write-up in her column. Considering how Markle wanted more attention, Hind was surprised when she recently admitted that the constant coverage was too much.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle open up about their struggles

In a new documentary, titled Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex finally opened up about the struggles they have been facing in recent years.

In her interview, Markle revealed that she has had a very difficult time adjusting to life in the royal family. She tried to ignore all the bad press she has received, but that only compounded the problem and left the former actress barely surviving behind the scenes.

Prince Harry, meanwhile, basically confirmed the rumors that he is feuding with Prince William. He explained how they have experienced some rough patches here and there and that they are officially on different paths in life.

The shocking documentary lefts royal watchers speculating about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future in the royal family, with some fans theorizing that they might leave England altogether to be closer to Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, in Los Angeles.

Markle’s half-sister speaks out

While we wait to hear more on that front, Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, is speaking out after being investigated for online bullying.

The Duchess’s sibling heavily criticized investigators for opening a case against her, saying that she should be free to say whatever she wants about Markle, especially after how she has treated their father, Thomas Markle.

Markle has faced a lot of family drama after tying the knot with Prince Harry and has yet to make amends with her father.

The Duchess of Sussex has not commented on the rumors surrounding her half-sister’s bullying case. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expected to fly to California later this month to spend Thanksgiving with Ragland, so it is doubtful that we will hear anything from them in the coming weeks.
