Was One of David Eason’s Instagram Accounts Deleted After Dog Scandal?
Jenelle Evans and David Eason are still dealing with fallout after he reportedly admitted to shooting her dog. The Teen Mom 2 couple might still be able to adopt a new dog through a certain channel, but Eason might not be as free to post things on social media. Was one of his accounts deleted and why? Here is everything you need to know.
David Eason admitted to killing Jenelle Evans’ dog on Instagram
The scandal started when Evans revealed that her French bulldog died in a tribute on Instagram. Her husband later made a video of his own on Instagram reportedly admitting to shooting and killing the dog. He claimed that he was protecting their 2-year-old daughter.
“I dont [sic] give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face,” he said according to Us Weekly. “Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont [sic] put up with that sh*t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes [sic] mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me.”
It didn’t take long for there to be a lot of backlash to the situation. Evans was fired from Teen Mom 2, an investigation started on Eason for alleged animal cruelty, and Evans’ son, Kaiser has been removed from their home. Now it looks like Instagram might have started taking action against one of Eason’s accounts.
His account, @HicktownKing was reportedly deleted
According to Us Weekly, Eason’s account was deleted from the social media platform. His @HicktownKing account might have been deactivated but he still has control of his pages, @bigolhonky. His other page, @easondavid88 is still up.
What led to the deactivation? Eason claimed he was locked out after posting pictures with guns and threatening authorities. In the bio of his @bigolhonky account it’s written, “Keep following @easondavid88 I might jus [sic] get it back one day who knows.”
Eason previously posted a picture with a gun with a message to Secret Service
On his account, @easondavid88 there is still a post up of Eason lying in bed with a gun. The caption is a message to Secret Service.
His message claimed he was visited by Secret Service after getting flagged. The message ended with “Dont expect my gate to ever be open again. I hope and pray that nobody ever tries to trespass on my property as they will be met with fire and fury, the likes of which they have never seen before.”
Eason’s actions on social media got him fired from Teen Mom 2 long before Evans was fired. He previously got in trouble for homophobic tweets. There was also a report that people were refusing to film him and Evans for the show after he was visited by Secret Service.
Teen Mom 2 co-star, Kailyn Lowry responded to that report on Twitter writing, “I will not be attending any type of reunion on the same day or weekend as Jenelle & David for the same reasons.”
It’s unknown whether Eason will get the Instagram account back or if his other accounts will also get deleted.
