‘Watch What Happens Live’: Andy Cohen Reveals Who Was the Worst Guest He’s Ever Had

Andy Cohen is known for getting people to talk about drama. As The Real Houswivesreunion host, Cohen asks the right questions to get the women to throw shade at one another and dish about how they really feel.

On Watch What Happens Live, he may still ask the same prying questions, but has to be a lot less direct about it as stars are used to dodging topics they don’t want to discuss.

Because of this, some stars don’t end up having such a great time on the show.

Why does Cohen blacklist some people from the show?

Over the years, there have been some less than stellar guests who have come on WWHL. Some have even been so bad that they have been barred from coming back.

“There are a few people. And you would be surprised, there are a few people who we have deemed ‘not worth the trouble,'” Cohen told AOL Lifestyle.

The stars on the blacklist are the ones who have too many topics that they won’t discuss.

“Like, you can’t talk about this and you can’t ask about that,” he continued. “Or there are a couple people who have been on the show that we deem too annoying to come back.”

Who was the worst guest that Cohen has had?

In June, Cohen told Vulture that model Amber Rose was his worst guest that he’d had on the show.

“She was not up for my tomfoolery,” he said. “I remember asking her questions and she was like, ‘I don’t want to talk about that. I don’t want to talk about that.’ It was not a good fit,” he said. “I just don’t think it was the show for her.”

What happened with Cohen and Tituss Burgess?

Recently, Cohen had a very awkward encounter with Tituss Burgess on his show.

While talking about the new movie, Dolemite Is My Name, Cohen asked Tituss what it was like working with Eddie Murphy.

“I was just wondering if you got close at all because he was very problematic for the gays at one point,” Cohen said.

The comment was referring to some homophobic stand-up routines that Murphy did in the ’90s.

“Oh, I see,” Burgess responded. “He wasn’t problematic for Tituss. We had a wonderful time. We talked about Dreamgirls. He should’ve won the Oscar, I believe.”

Burgess was obviously upset by the questioning and took to his social media to go off on Cohen.

“She can be a messy queen!” he wrote on Instagram. “Don’t care he knows either! He should remember his talk show isn’t an episode of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta!’ It’s a place where artists come to talk about art and have a little fun NOT a place to rehash old rumors or bring a star negative press. Sunday was a display of ratchet behavior by a well-connected man having blatant disregard for one of his guests. If only time were taken to know who I am and not assuming that I am the character I play on tv he would know how to conduct a proper interview with at all!”

“I received 4 Emmy nominations for acting! Not for being myself. He was lucky I had my wits and Christian values THAT day. Always keep it classy. Being friends with other talented celebrities doesn’t make you talented. It makes you friends with other famous celebrities. He should rip a page from Anderson Cooper and learn how to do his job.”
