For many years, William’s marriage to Kevin Hunter seemed wonderful. The couple met at an ice rink in 1994 and were married three years later in 1997. They shared a son together, 18-year-old Kevin Jr, and they worked together. He was her manager and the executive producer of her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show. From the outside, their life looked perfect.

But Hunter had been living a double life for years. When Williams left their home for a time to attend to her addiction issues, the news broke that Hunter had a mistress and she was pregnant with his child. Williams immediately separated from Hunter and cut ties with him professionally, which included dissolving the Hunter Foundation, a non-profit the couple had created in 2014.

It’s now alleged that Hunter’s affair may have been going on for as long as 15 years. But Williams said she knew for some time about Hunter’s double life. “I knew a lot of things for years,” she told Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM radio channel, Radio Andy

What kind of man is Wendy William’s looking for?

After spending over twenty years married to Hunter, Williams is now single, but not for long. “This finger feels very empty,” she said, while pointing to her right ring finger during an interview with Fox 5 New York. “I’ve moved on.” Williams described a life where she was having fun getting to know people, but she does really want to settle down again.

“I’m not as attentive as some women are, because I’ve got a very busy career running an empire of stuff. But I am very much a wife and not a girlfriend,” she said.

Williams knows herself and knows exactly the type of man she’s looking for. She wants a man that is full-grown, between the ages of 48 and 55. He must be “very employed” and mature. She doesn’t want anyone with young children. “Kids old enough where they don’t have to call me mom, you know what I mean? I’m not dealing with that. I’m not changing any pampers.”

Even though she’s having lots of fun dating, it’s not all great. William’s insisted she wouldn’t be single long. In some ways, dating can be hard. “There’s so many questions,” she said, “like when do I take my wig off?”

Wendy Williams is happy being single for now

But if the right guy doesn’t come around right away, Williams is going to be okay. She feels “wonderful” about being single. She loves her life and where she’s at right now. “It’s a new life, and it feels good, you know? I just turned 55, and I feel like I’m 25 most of the time. I feel like I’m in college only with a paycheck.”

“It’s a big paycheck,” the woman interviewing her joked. And she’s right. From The Wendy Williams Show alone, she makes $10 million every year. So when Williams talks about being happy with the apartment she’s living in now, she doesn’t mean a dinky starter place. With a total net worth of $40 million, we’re sure Williams lives in a gorgeous place.

During the interview with Fox 5, Williams mentioned that she was selling the house in New Jersey that she shared with Hunter, and now she lives in an apartment. “I’ve got a great apartment for me and my son,” Williams said. “I have a better place now.” She described her apartment as having black paint, chandeliers, and artwork.

When asked if anyone she was seeing now had potential, Williams kept quiet but gave the camera an eyebrow raise
