Revealed: Why Wendy Williams Says You Will See Her And Husband, Kevin Hunter, Together Again

Wendy Williams certainly has a robust career. As a tv host, author, fashion designer, radio DJ, and media personality, the 54-year-old seems to know how to continuously diversify herself and her personal brand. Though she has had a lot of different roles, what has defined her career is her self-titled TV talk show, The Wendy Williams Show. The talk show has been in syndication since 2008 and still has a large following today. A good portion of the show is devoted to Williams covering and giving commentary about the “hot topics”, which typically consists of celebrity and entertainment news. Recently though, Williams herself has been a hot topic in the news because of her relationship with husband, Kevin Hunter.

Husband

In the past couple of years, Williams has found herself in the limelight because of her husband’s multiple cheating scandals. The most infamous of which was that her husband allegedly had a baby out of wedlock by getting his mistress pregnant. In the past, the talk show host has stood by her husband in the face of infidelity by coming to his defense and announcing that they would be staying together, or by refusing to address the situation altogether. But things recently changed when Williams filed for divorce from Hunter and also terminated her managerial relationship with him.

Mystery man

Last night, The Shade Room caught the 54-year old picking up some soul food in L.A. with a new, mystery man. The paparazzi mistakenly thought it was Hunter, but Willaims was quick to set the record straight. “That’s not Kevin! No!” the former DJ exclaimed. When the reporter asked about who the new man was, Williams was quick to admit that he was a friend. However, she later threw in a coy look that seemed to imply that they two were more than just friends.

Husband

It seems that Williams has already begun to move on, so where does that leave her and her former husband? “Please don’t ask about Kevin. We have an 18-year-old son, and I’m sensitive to that. But, that is not Kevin.” the New Jersey native pleaded, again reiterating that her new companion was not Hill. “I didn’t plan on this, but it is what it is. But I have a very full life, thank you for watching. I would ask you to respect our privacy, but please, I don’t respect people’s privacy, that’s why I do the hot topics, so turnabout is a fair game. But, all three of us are doing fine.” the media personality stressed through tears.

Son

Of course, the third person Williams was referring to was her only child, Kevin Hunter Jr. She was quick to reassure fans that her son was doing just fine amidst the messy divorce. “Young Kevin and I are fine, godspeed. You know stuff happens in life, stuff happens and it’s okay. I’ve still got a very full life that I really adore. Please don’t make me cry.” the 54-year-old implored to the paparazzi.

Future

Despite the pain of the impending divorce, Williams admits that she will be civil to her ex in the future. When asked if she, Hunter, and Hunter Jr. will ever be seen together again, she was quick to set things straight “Yes! Yes, of course, you will. Kevin’s gotta graduate from college, he’s going to do sophomore year. He’s going to get married and whatever, he’s going to celebrate. Everybody’s gotta grow up. I mean you know stuff happens in life.”

It’s nice to see that Williams is taking the high road and willing to put personal heartache and feelings aside for the sake of her son. It takes lot of maturity and grace to be able to do that despite consistent embarrassment and disrespect. We hope for the best for the talk show host and hope she enjoyed eating her soul food with her new friend.
