Wendy Williams Reveals the Youngest and Oldest She’s Willing to Date

After her very public divorce, Wendy Williams had to get used to dating again. And, along the way, she may have made a few mistakes like not being choosy enough about the men she dated. Now though, she’s figured out exactly what she’s looking for — all the way down to an age range.

This year has been one of big changes for Williams. She discovered her husband of over 20 years, Kevin Hunter, got his mistress pregnant. So, Williams immediately filed for divorce.

But Williams didn’t let heartbreak take her down for long. Instead, she jumped right back into the dating game. In an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Williams revealed that her dating life is flourishing.

“I see many men,” she told him. But after a summer filled with tabloid photos of her with a much younger guy, Williams now has an age preference for the men she sees. “The youngest would be, like, 48,” she said. “The oldest would be 65.”

In June, Williams was seen out with 27-year-old, convicted felon, Marc Tomblin. When the media revealed his past — Tomblin was convicted for robbery with a dangerous weapon — Williams insisted she knew all about it and didn’t care.

“I am a 54-year-old grown a** woman. I know what I’m doing,” she told TMZ

Even though Williams was quick to disregard Tomblin’s past, she insisted that they weren’t a couple and that she was just having “no strings attached fun.” When Williams returned to her show, The Wendy Williams Show, she used the opportunity to discuss her choices in men, insisting that while young men are attracted to her, she prefers an older man.

“You all think I’m messing around with a 27-year-old — 27-year-old boys, quite frankly, do find me very attractive. I get it,” she said. “But when it comes time for the comfort of a man, I need somebody in his 50s, too.”

And soon Williams did reveal that she was seeing an older man: a doctor.

Wendy Williams wants to settle down eventually

Although she’s having fun dating for now, eventually Williams does want to settle down again. However, this time she wants her man to have his own thing going on. In an interview on The Dr. Oz Show, she said,:”I’m a wife. I’m not a girlfriend and I will get married again.

But when she does get married, Williams revealed that she wants a prenup agreement, and she doesn’t want to live together. Instead, she wants the freedom to choose where they stay each night, which means he needs his own career as well.

“I need a man with a full career and his own money and his own situation. I don’t want anything from you, except your love and respect,” she said. “Don’t ask anything of me, but love and respect.”

Wendy Williams doesn’t want a repeat of the past

Looks like she’s trying to avoid a situation like the one she had with Hunter, where he lived with her and worked as a producer on her show. This time she wants a very different kind of relationship, which we can all understand. Except, why bother getting married if you aren’t going to live together or share finances?

Maybe what William’s really wants is just a long-term boyfriend. And if that’s the case, that’s totally okay. Her life is up to her. But we can’t help but think Williams sounds a bit like she doesn’t really know what she wants quite yet.

Williams may be scared to jump into another marriage. After what she went through, we can’t really blame her for that. Whatever she ends with, we just hope Williams finds a way to be happy and secure.
