What Does It Cost to Get ‘RHOC’ Shannon Beador’s Non-Surgical Neck Lift?
Shannon Beador from The Real Housewives of Orange County eluded to getting a little nip and tuck after losing weight. She recently took her first step toward tightening problem areas, going the non-surgical route.
She shared on Instagram, “I just tried another procedure called ClearLift on my neck @cosmeticare_ I’m pretty excited with the results and it only took 15 minutes! These are not professional or precise pictures, but check out my story to see the ‘before’ pic…” Images show a tighter neck with less wrinkles and blotchiness.
So procedure did Beador have and how much does it cost?
The ‘lunchtime laser’
Often referred to as the “lunchtime laser” ClearLift Laser is a non-surgical approach to tightening and smoothing skin, according to CostmetiCare Plastic Surgery Center and MedSpa. Most importantly, patients have no downtime and can have the procedure performed during their lunch hour.
No actual skin tissue is removed. And the laser uses technology that “can penetrate the outer layers of your skin without causing any damage.” Technicians use a maneuverable wand to treat redness, blotchiness and provide over skin tone. The procedure is also meant to reduce the need for other cosmetic treatments like Botox or fillers, according to Elite Medical Skin & Laser Center.
What is the procedure like?
According to CostmetiCare Plastic Surgery Center and MedSpa, patients feel no pain during the procedure. In fact, patients can return to work or any other activities immediately. Beador posted the entire 15-minute procedure on her Instagram story and calmly chatted while the technician worked on her.
Elite Medical Skin & Laser Center described the procedure as “a pleasant warmth during the treatment. Occasionally there may be a snapping sound as the laser head is moved from area to area but that is entirely painless and without consequence.”
How much does it cost and how many treatments do you need?
While patients feel no pain during the procedure they may feel some pain when it comes time to pay. While different medical centers charge various rates, Elite Medical Skin & Laser Center says each treatment costs about $300 for a treatment for the face. Adding other areas of the body increases the cost. Also, to maintain and complete the procedure in full, Elite recommends patients have six treatments. This is the best way to restore and maximize collagen.
Elite also recommends patients have a touch-up treatment every year to maintain a youthful glow. Patients can extend the treatment length effectiveness by staying out of the sun. Plus use “recommended” skincare products too.
