What Does Princess Eugenie Do Every Day and Where Does She Get Her Money From?

Ever since Princess Eugenie of York wed Jack Brooksbank in 2018, there’s been a ton of interest in Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson‘s youngest daughter.

Before Prince William and Prince Harry‘s cousin tied the knot, not much was known about the princess except that she and her sister, Princess Beatrice, wore interesting hats to William and Kate Middleton‘s wedding. Now though, royal fans are eager to learn more about her. Because she is not considered a “full-time working royal” people are curious about how she spends her days as well as how she makes her money.

Here’s the answer to that, plus what Eugenie’s net worth is.

What Princess Eugenie does every day

If you thought being a princess meant just lying around a palace all day then you’re not thinking about Princess Eugenie.

The royal and her husband live at Ivy Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace. The residence is a three-bedroom home where the deputy head of the palace’s property department lived before he retired a few years ago.

During the week, Eugenie wakes up every day around 6:45 a.m. to get a workout in. Her routine varies but she previously told Harper’s Bazaar that it usually involves “circuits, which I love because they’re quick: burpees, squat jumps, lunges, the whole lot. It’s much better, as I can’t run (Eugenie has scoliosis and metal rods around her spine that allow her to stand straight) for a long time.”

After exercising in the morning, Eugenie is headed out the door by 8:45 a.m. for work, yes work.

Where she works and what her net worth is

Since 2015, the princess has been employed at a London art gallery, Hauser & Wirth, and holds the position of associate director. She actually studied art history in college and said it has always been one of her passions.

“I’ve loved art since I was very little. I knew I definitely wouldn’t be a painter, but I knew this was the industry for me,” she said. “I love being able to share my passion for art.”

Like many people, Eugenie works a typical eight-hour workday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. but that doesn’t mean her day ends then.

“I often have engagements related to my family or a charity I support. Hauser & Wirth is very accommodating and understanding of my sense of duty, ” she explained. “So I’ll work until 5 p.m. then leave to do the engagement. My sister, Bea, and I have charities we’re patrons of. We also try to support Granny and Grandpa in any way we can because that is what family is for.”

The princess usually has her dinner around 8 p.m. every night and is in bed by midnight before doing it all over again the next day.

Eugenie’s estimated net worth is $5 million. The bulk of that fortune is reportedly family money. She has a trust fund from her great-grandmom, the Queen Mother, as well as a trust that waa set up after her parents divorced in 1996.
