What Happened to Kevin Hart? Details About the Crash That Left Him Severely Injured
Kevin Hart being in the news is nothing new. The star is constantly making headlines for his comedy. But unfortunately, recent reports about the comedian have taken a very somber tone.
Yesterday, Hart and two others were involved in a serious car crash in Calabasas, California.
According to reports from the California Highway Patrol, Jared Black was driving Hart’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda when he lost control of the car. The vehicle then went off the road and rolled down an embankment.
Two of the three people in the car were trapped inside the vehicle.
Was Hart hurt?
TMZ reported that Black and the third passenger were found pinned in their seats. The roof of the car was crushed in and the fire department had to saw it off to free the two. The driver was then airlifted to UCLA Medical Center.
Hart was also taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. He and the driver are both said to have sustained “major back injuries.”
Celebrities send well wishes
Since news of the accident broke, Hart has had a number of people come out to wish him and the rest of the people in the car well.

Makeup artist Tati Westbrook, who is friends with the third person in the car, wished all three of the people involved a speedy recovery.
“My friend Rebecca who’s my trainer & an endless source of inspiration in my life, was in a horrific accident with her fiancé Jared & Kevin Hart,” she tweeted. “I’m grateful everyone made it out alive. Please go give her some love & send some prayers to all involved.”
“Best wishes to Kevin Hart,” Martha Stewart wrote. “I hope he will be okay after his horrific accident. And of course best wishes for safe survival to all those affected by storm Dorian. Be careful!”
“This news about Kevin Hart breaks my heart,” Jessica Blevins wrote. “We were literally with him a week ago and he truly is so so so kind and fun. My prayers are with him and his family.”

Even those who don’t know Hart personally have been shaken up by the accident.
