What is Billie Eilish’s Net Worth?

If you’ve been into the indie music scene lately then you have probably heard of relative newcomer, Billie Eilish.

Though she really rose to fame in 2017 when her song “Ocean Eyes” blew up, she has actually been in the industry for quite some time.

Eilish’s launch to fame really came through a strange mashup of fate and luck.

When she was 14, her dance teacher needed original music for some choreography that he was creating. She made the song “Ocean Eyes” and posted it to SoundCloud. The song was then discovered by a music discovery site called Hillydilly according to Music Connection. Once her song landed on Hillydilly, there was no turning back.

The simple song, written by Eilish and produced by her brother Finneas O’ Connell gained over 80 million plays on Spotify and became certified gold by the RIAA.

“Who know’s how you’re supposed to [handle it], you know?” she told Harpar’s Bazaar of going viral. “There’s no prep for anything like this at all, so I don’t know. When stuff just happens you just kind of have to feel it out. It’s been freaking crazy, so I’m really happy about everything.”

She went on to release “Don’t Smile at Me,” an EP filled with moody and captivating songs. The EP was then released by Darkroom/Interscope Records.

After releasing her EP, Eilish and her brother added a drummer to their team and set off on a tour of festivals in the U.S., Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

Since then, she has recorded a duet with Khalid, called “Lovely” which was featured on Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why. She also co-wrote “Your Eyes” for The Knocks fifth EP “Testify.”

Her music has also been featured in popular movies such as 2016’s X:Men Apocalypse and 2017’s Everything, Everything.

What is her net worth?

Billie Eilish is currently worth $6 million. Not bad for a 17 year old.

How does she make her money?

As previoulsy mentioned, Eilish’s songs have been included in a number of movies. She also performs at music festivals both nationally and internationally.

On Monday, she announced the North American leg for her upcoming tour for her new album “When We All Fall Alseep, Where Do We Go?”

The tour will start with Eilish performing at Coachella in April and then she’ll head to San Fransisco on May 29th. She will also headline prominent venues such as Colorado’s red Rocks Ampitheatre and even Radio City Music Hall in New York.

Denzel Curry will tour with the singer.
