What is Kellyanne Conway’s Net Worth?

From the moment Donald Trump decided to campaign to become President of the United States, Kellyanne Conway has been by his side. In Aug. 2016, Trump appointed Conway as his campaign manager and after winning his bid for the White House, Conway has stepped into the role as Counselor to the President. Earlier on in his presidency, the mother-of-four could be found on various news outlets defending Trump’s behavior and various policies. Her actions and use of the phrase “alternative facts” have gotten her banned from various news shows including MSNBC’s Morning Joe. However, in recent months she has been slightly quieter.

So what exactly is a Counselor to the President and what is Kellyanne Conway’s net worth?

Kellyanne Conway is worth $39 million

When Conway took on her role in the White House, she certainly didn’t need the money. She’d built her $39 million fortune well before getting into Trump’s camp. Though Conway’s anti-Trump husband, George Conway is a lawyer, Mrs. Conway built most of her fortune herself. In 1995, when she was just 28, the New Jersey native founded a political-polling business. When she sold the company in 2017, her stake was estimated between  $1 million to $5 million — and she was able to avoid paying hefty taxes due to a loophole that applies to executive branch employees. The Conways have also learned how to make their money work for them. Though they’ve both drawn in substantial salaries, a bunch of their wealth also comes from stocks. One of their Citibank accounts alone has been valued at between $500,000 and $1 million.

Conway earns $179,700 annually as Counselor to the President

The George Washington University Law School alum is paid handsomely for working on Trump’s White House. She has one of the highest White House salaries, $179,700 — the maximum that can be earned, and Conway spends her days tweeting and dealing with the president’s ever-changing mood. New York Magazine’s Olivia Nuzzi, explained, “She’s the counselor to an uncounselable man, a spokeswoman for an administration whose message changes day to day, hour to hour.”

This is how Kellyanne spends her money

In 2001, when she and George Conway married, the then-newlywed couple purchased a condo in Trump World Tower in New York City where they lived for seven years. This is how Conway was initially introduced to Trump. In 2005, the Conselour went on to write a book, What Women Really Want which added to her wealth and helped her and her husband purchase a home in Alpine, New Jersey — which is called one of America’s most expensive zip codes. The Conways also have memberships to Alpine Country Club which can cost up to $75,000, plus $25,000 a year in dues.

Though George Conway still works for Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York which is known as one of the countries most grueling law firms, her wife’s position in the White House meant the family needed to relocate. At the start of Trump’s term, the Conway’s purchased an $8 million home in the DC area.

If Conway decides to move on before 2020, she certainly won’t be hurting for cash. Though she’s sold her business, we’re sure she is crafty enough to find a new way to expand her massive net worth.
