What Tyler C. Is Most Thankful For From ‘The Bachelorette’ (Hint: It Has Nothing To Do With Hannah)
Tyler Cameron was a fan favorite on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. Though he wasn’t awarded her final rose, Brown did ask Cameron out for a drink on national TV after ending her engagement to Jed Wyatt.
The two met up, but a couple of days later, Cameron was photographed out in New York City with Gigi Hadid, who he has been dating ever since.
Cameron swears there are no “hard feelings” between him and Brown, despite their awkward ending.
“She’s a great person and there’s no hard feelings. She’s super sweet and I hope nothing but the best for her. She’s gonna crush Dancing With The Stars. She better go win that mirror ball. She better go crush it and win that mirror ball,” he said recently on the Bachelor Party podcast.
Brown’s echoed a similar sentiment when she’s been asked about Cameron in interviews. But she’s also hinted that she wishes the situation would have played out differently.
“When you are in the public eye, you do have to just be respectful of each other,” Brown said on Rachel Lindsay and Ali Fedotowsky’s Bachelor Happy Hour podcast. “And yeah, I wish I would’ve got a little bit more than two days. But, you know, it is okay.”
What Tyler C. is most thankful for from ‘The Bachelorette’
Even though Cameron wasn’t awarded Brown’s final rose, the two did form a real connection during their time on the show. But the connection they formed isn’t what Cameron is most thankful for from his time on The Bachelorette.
What Cameron is thankful for is the footage of him and his father during his hometown date.
“That’s a moment I’ll always cherish and super grateful for. I had a professor for this film class I was in and he talked about, everyone should sit down with their family, their parents, and do a thirty minute or hour recording and just ask them questions. Ask them about their life. Just something you can always have and look at. Now that I have those times documented with my dad I’ll forever have that. That’s probably the thing I’m most thankful for from the show,” he said on the Bachelor Party podcast.
Viewers will remember Cameron telling Brown that he almost didn’t go on the show because his dad fell ill just before filming.
How Tyler C.’s dad is doing now
Cameron says, lately, his dad has been doing a lot better.
“He’s actually doing really, really well. He just got out of the hospital. He’s feeling better than he has in a long time. They did some procedures on him and he’s really excited. He’s losing weight and he’s doing the right things, he’s making the right steps forward and hopefully he can stay on that path,” he said.
