What Will Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Name Their Fourth Kid?
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting a fourth child as they make an effort to continue expanding their beautiful family. A year has passed since their third child was born, and now they’re moving on to keep adding more Wests into the world.
It’s no secret that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West prefer unique names with their three previous children, North, Saint, and Chicago, but what can we expect to be the next name as their second son enters their family unit?
The history behind North West’s name
According to USA Today, North’s introduction into this world lacked media attention. Or, well, not exactly as many media outlets wanted to know more about her and why she received the name she had by her parents. People were obsessed with learning more about the first West child, primarily since she was a baby girl.
The information eventually leaked via E! as Kardashian and West were telling everyone that, “North means highest power.” Later, by an unnamed source, it was revealed that the parents also considered their child to be their highest point together. Source says there is nothing more special than North to the loving parents.
The history behind Saint West’s name
A couple of years later, after some complications with Kardashian’s ability to conceive, they had a second child, naming their son Saint. According to eonline, they picked the name as a way of calling him “a blessing” since she did have such a difficult pregnancy. They were happy and blessed to have another addition to the family even if things had been rocky. Continuing to give birth wasn’t in the cards anymore for Kardashian as her net worth gives her plenty of options for future children.
Other origins of his name are highly connected to their love affair with fashion, according to Us Magazine. West has previously studied fashion design at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, and the couple’s favorite designer labels were Saint Laurent Paris.
The history behind Chicago West’s name
Kardashian announced the name of their third child and second daughter after she was born January 15, 2018, via surrogate. All she had to post was “Chicago West,” and people already began talking, wanting to know the origin of another unique name. Many citizens of Chicago were proud that such a high-level celebrity couple would choose to name one of their children after the city.
But why Chicago? Sources say the name was a perfect fit for the couple since West has such deep ties to the city. He had moved to Chicago when he was only three years old and grew up in Oak Lawn. He has referenced the town many times in his music, including his 2007 song, “Homecoming.”
Another interesting detail about Chicago’s name is the nickname Chi the parents chose for her. The name is pronounced “Shy” as in “Chi-town,” a common phrase for the city of Chicago. Kardashian and West have now made an expectation for their next child to be named something equally special to their family and relationship.
Possible baby names for Kim and Kanye’s fourth child
A few theories have bounced around as to what the next and final name might be. Since Kardashian and West reside in a four-bedroom condo, most insiders have agreed that this will be their last child. After using a name generator, we’ve come up with a few suggestions of our own. At first, we had thought Truth was a good candidate but realized there’s no way they would as Khloe Kardashian has already named her child True.
Some other suggestions are French and Night as they are both unique and could hold close ties to the couple and their family. Both Kardashian and West often travel to France and have a deep appreciation for fashion and design. The name Night is rather stoic, but it would be a great addition as their second son’s name as it is both intense and mysterious.
A few fun suggestions to pop up in the generator are Ocean, Park, and Free. They all have a definite uniqueness to them that would have people wondering what the story behind those names could be. We’ll know more in a few months when the birth is announced.
