When Was the ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 6 Reunion Filmed?
The summer is finally cooling down as Bachelor in Paradise comes to a close for its sixth season. Fans watched as their favorite Bachelor Nation contestants washed up on the shores in Mexico to find their perfect match. And there has been plenty of heartbreak along the way. Now, as the ABC reality series nears its grand finale, longtime viewers have been increasingly curious about the reunion special for a much-needed update since the show stopped taping. But when was the Bachelor in Paradise Season 6 reunion filmed? The special episode was recorded months after the series wrapped, and a lot has happened since then.
The ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ reunion taping for season 6
The Bachelor in Paradise Season 6 reunion special episode was filmed on Aug. 27, according to Reality Steve. The franchise blogger previously revealed the reality show started taping on Jun. 6, which means over two months passed for contestants who arrived on the first day. Reality Steve also shared the reunion would air on Sept. 17, which means the episode will serve as part of the season finale, per usual.

Which ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ couples are still together in the reunion?
Reality Steve revealed three couples got engaged prior to the Bachelor in Paradise premiere. According to the franchise connaisseur, Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin, Katie Morton and Chris Bukowski, and Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty end up together at the end of the sixth season. And although fans know breakups happen after the show wraps, it looks like all three couples are still together in the reunion special, per Reality Steve.
Just because a couple left Mexico without an engagement ring doesn’t mean they left unhappy. In the Sept. 9 episode, Caelynn Miller-Keyes left Connor Saeli for Dean Unglert. But it looks like Miller-Keyes and Unglert received their happy ending, as they are still dating in the reunion. Meanwhile, Saeli finds happiness with Whitney Fransway, and John Paul Jones is still going strong with Tayshia Adams.
Will the reunion special will announce ‘The Bachelor’?
Everyone knows Chris Harrison will sit down with the cast of Bachelor in Paradise Season 6. However, Harrison will also introduce the next bachelor during the Sept. 17 episode. The blogger revealed Peter Weber, the pilot from Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette, will be the lead for season 24.
Although some fans might trust Reality Steve’s intel, none of the information about the Bachelor in Paradise reunion has been confirmed by ABC. So everyone will just have to wait and see how it all plays out on Sept. 17. But, whether you’re excited for the franchise’s pick for The Bachelor or you are just dying to see your favorite season 6 couples make it to the end, there’s still plenty of drama to look forward to.
When speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Harrison revealed Blake Horstmann would probably take the hot seat at the season 6 reunion. Horstmann released a series of text messages after the show wrapped in Mexico, which means layers will unfold during the special.
“We didn’t deal with this [releasing of the text messages] on the show because it’s just happening now in the real world and we’ve already finished shooting in Mexico,” Harrison said. “So it will have to evolve later on the show when we all sit down.”
Yikes. With all the drama surrounding the cast of season 6, who knows what will actually happen during the reunion special. Let’s just hope it’s a good show.
