Criminal Minds is a truly beloved show that’s been a major fan favorite on Netflix for years. It’s currently one of the top 10 most-watched licensed TV shows on the streaming platform. Since the final season is set to premiere very soon, many speculate that the series is leaving Netflix. There isn’t any official date for the pull, but according to What’s On Netflix, the show could be pulled possibly sometime in 2020.

The streaming platform currently only offers seasons 1 through 12 of Criminal Minds. The fact that seasons 13 and 14 are still not available is perplexing for fans and hints at the show leaving Netflix at some point.

Other CBS shows have already left Netflix

Other CBS shows, including Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods left the platform already so things don’t look good going forward for Criminal Minds. It makes sense that the series would also leave Netflix and follow suit with other CBS shows, especially since the final season will be premiering soon.

There hasn’t been any official confirmation about Criminal Minds leaving Netflix, but a fan did talk to CBS’ support team and received a message that they “are working to expand [their] content to make more seasons and episodes available.”

When does season 15 of ‘Criminal Minds’ premiere?

The final season of the hit series will premiere on Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at 9 p.m. E.S.T. The official social media accounts released the details. “Get ready. January 8. #CriminalMinds,” the tweet reads. The premiere will be two hours long and fans can’t wait. It’s hard not to speculate about how it’s all going to end. There are still a lot of loose ends that need to be tied up before it’s all really over.

Who is returning for the final season?

Which of our favorite BAU agents will be back for the final season of the series? Many familiar faces will be back including Jennifer “JJ” Jareau (A.J. Cook), David Rossi (Joe Mantegna), Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), and Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster). Jane Lynch will be back as Diana Reid. Dr. Tara Lewis (Aisha Tyler), Luke Alvez (Adam Rodriguez), and Matt Simmons (Daniel Henney) will also be back for season 15.

What will happen with JJ and Reid?

Reid and JJ have major unfinished business together after that explosive season 14 finale. JJ revealed a secret to her best friend and it was jaw-dropping. “Spence, um, I’ve always loved you. And I was just too scared to say it before. And now things are just really too complicated to say now,” JJ said. “I’m sorry, but you should know.”

Obviously, this will be addressed in the final season. But considering that JJ has a family of her own and Reid is her best friend, things will probably not go anywhere at all. Fans weren’t exactly on board for it either. Criminal Minds will be back with one final season.
