Which of Jon and Kate Gosselin’s Kids From ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8’ Only See Jon Now?

There are plenty of celebrity families known for their drama over the years, and the Gosselins are certainly one of them. We’ve been keeping up with Jon and Kate Gosselin for over a decade thanks to Jon & Kate Plus 8. The reality series chronicled their lives as they navigated parenthood with twins and a set of sextuplets. It wasn’t long until Jon and Kate’s marriage fell apart, however — and while they divorced 10 years ago, there continue to be fights over custody of the children to this day.

We know some of the children live with Kate and some with Jon, but which children only see Jon now? Here’s what we know.

It’s no secret that Hannah Gosselin was the first of the eight children to choose to live with Jon full-time instead of Kate. Back in 2018, we remember seeing Hannah in many of Jon’s Instagram posts, which had fans talking. And as one insider told Hollywood Life, “Hannah lives full time with Jon and they are always out and about together in his hometown of Reading, PA.” Fans thought Kate still had full custody of Hannah at this time, but the insider also noted that Jon and Kate’s arrangement was “top secret” — and we’re still seeing plenty of photos of Jon and Hannah together on social media well into 2019.

Fans may also remember the public spat Jon and Kate had over Hannah as early as 2017. TMZ reports the two were engaging in a heated argument at the dentist office, and it was over who would be taking Hannah home. Jon ultimately won the argument, but the police were also called due to the severity of the situation

Jon recently got custody over Collin, who also doesn’t see Kate

In more recent Gosselin news, Jon attained temporary sole custody of his “troubled” son Collin at the end of 2018. People reports Collin was living at a facility for “special needs” for two years due to his reported behavioral issues, but during his breaks, he often made guest appearances with Hannah and Jon on Jon’s Instagram. Kate has discussed before how Collin always questioned her authority and challenged her when he was younger, so it seems he’s always had a better connection with his dad. And when the time came for the custody battle over Collin, Kate failed to show up to court.

While we know Collin lives with Jon now, it seems he doesn’t see his mother at all anymore, either. Jon mentioned on Instagram that his son has had “zero” contact with Kate since the new custody arrangement.

The rest of the kids live with Kate, and a few refuse to speak to Jon

Jon has mentioned in the past that he doesn’t get together with all of his eight children anymore, as it typically ends in chaos. And it seems he also doesn’t see much of his other six children, either. We never see the other kids with Hannah or Collin on social media, and it seems Jon is putting most of his focus on the two kids who have chosen to be with him rather than the ones who live with Kate.

There are also two of his children who have openly spoken about their choice to shun Jon altogether and only communicate with Kate. Mady and Cara, the 18-year-old twins, told People back in 2016 that they weren’t speaking to Jon. His daughters seemed to be particularly upset regarding the way he was speaking about them to the media, as Mady said, “He should maybe spend some time thinking about why we don’t want to see him, and maybe realize that if he ever does want a relationship with us, talking about us on TV is not the way to make that happen.”
