Lisa Rinna and Lisa Vanderpump both starred on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But besides the Real Housewives franchise, both women have seen success of their own. Rinna didn’t join the Real Housewives cast until the fifth season, but she quickly became one of those cast members people couldn’t get enough of. Vanderpump was clearly a hit with Bravo fans, since she eventually got her own spinoff show. But which Lisa has the higher net worth?
Lisa Rinna had a successful acting career before she appeared on ‘Real Housewives’
Rinna may have joined the Real Housewives late, but she knew how to leave her mark. Before Rinna struck reality television fame, she had a successful acting career on daytime television. Rinna is best known for her role on the ABC soap opera Days of Our Lives. She played Billie Reed on the soap opera from 1992 to 1995, then took a hiatus before coming back to the role in 2002 and 2003. She returned to the show briefly in 2012. She also had other acting roles during that time, including a brief role on Nickelodean’s Big Time Rush. She also starred in the Broadway play “Chicago” alongside her husband back in 2009.
Rinna is worth an estimated $8 million
Rinna has had a successful acting career through the years, which helped her accumulate a very comfortable net worth estimated around $8 million. In addition to acting, Rinna has also had a few other opportunities to earn some money. Most obviously, her role on Real Housewives paid pretty well; Rinna reportedly made $450,000 on her first season of the show, which is more than most Americans make over the course of several years. She’s also hosted several programs, including TV Guide’s Red Carpet coverage. Plus, she guest-hosted on Live! With Regis and Kelly. Rinna also appeared on Celebrity Apprentice on several occasions.
Lisa Vanderpump was loved on ‘Real Housewives’ and eventually got a spinoff show
Vanderpump has been one of the most well-known Real Housewives cast members for years. Bravo loved her so much that she eventually got her own spinoff show, Vanderpump Rules. There were rumors that Vanderpump was going to leave Real Housewives after season 8, but after much deliberation, she decided to return to the show. Vanderpump also had a brief stint on Dancing With the Stars, but was eliminated toward the beginning of the season.
Vanderpump is worth an estimated $75 million
Today, Vanderpump is not only much wealthier than Rinna but also the wealthiest cast member in the entire Real Housewives franchise with an estimated net worth of $75 million. Vanderpump and her husband are extremely successful restaurateurs. They reportedly designed and started more than two-dozen establishments in the United Kingdom. They also own four restaurants in California. In addition to the restaurant business, Vanderpump has also become an author and was the editor-in-chief of Beverly Hills Lifestyle Magazine. In 2015, Vanderpump launched a line of luxury pet accessories; part of the profits goes to her and her husband’s animal charity, the Vanderpump Dog Foundation.
