Who Is Kate Middleton’s Stylist, Natasha Archer?

Although Kate Middleton would undoubtedly look great in any outfit, the young royal relies on a stylist to maintain her regal appearance. As per the Queen’s request, the savvy stylist has been tasked with curating the Duchess of Cambridge’s wardrobe since 2018. It’s not her first assignment with the Royal Family, however.

Here’s what we know about Natasha Archer

Born in 1988, the sensational stylist Kate calls ‘Tash’ worked as the Duke and Duchess’ personal assistant in Kensington Palace, prior to becoming Middleton’s unofficial fashion guru. Her duties included diary keeping and setting appointments for the royal pair. It didn’t take long for Queen Elizabeth II to notice Archer’s savvy style sense and implore her to help Middleton evolve her fashion in a regal manner.

When the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out with her beloved Duke in her teal Emilia Wickstead pleated dress with long sleeves last November, credit was due in part to Archer’s unending sense of style. Earlier the same month, Kate donned a black velvet headband to accessorize the emerald green Catherine Walker coat she wore to the Centenary of the Armistice at Westminster Abbey. Of course, the elegant ensemble was hand-picked for the royal wardrobe by Tash.

Did Archer select the pale purple, long sleeve Emilia Wickstead dress Kate smartly wore to the inaugural Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit in October, 2018? Probably. The Duchess was previously seen wearing the same coat during a 2017 trip to Germany, noted People magazine.

In November 2017, the Duchess’ baby bump was barely visible when she made her arrival at the Royal Variety Performance at the Palladium Theatre in London wearing a baby blue Jenny Packham gown. The Duchess dazzled in Jenny Packham again, when she showed up at London’s Natural History Museum for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year in 2014. Of course, she wore her favorite Agata bow sandals for the semi-casual but oh-so elegant event.

Is Jenny Packham Kate’s favorite designer?

It is certainly starting to look that way. In 2018, Middleton strode the red carpet in a lovely dark green empire waist gown and accessorized by tastel (and pricey) emerald jewelry.

On Easter Sunday that same year, a very-pregnant Duchess of Cambridge attended services at St. George’s Chapel in a chocolate brown coat, a coordinating fascinator, and always-classy nude pumps.

By the way, who can pull off super-skinny jeans just weeks before giving birth? The Duchess of Cambridge, that’s who. Casual chic was the order of the day when Kate dressed up her maternity outfit with pearl earrings and a cream-colored coat from Goat Clothing.

Forget all the rumors: Tash isn’t planning to quit her job with the Duchess any time soon

When Archer was named a Member of the Royal Victorian Order earlier this year, rumors started circulating. According to People and other reliable sources, the RVO honor is typically reserved for former members of the royal staff.

Within hours of the announcement, however, Kensington Palace squelched rumors when they explained that the Duchess’ personal stylist was merely on maternity leave. Royal watchers will be pleased to know that Archer plans to return to her position after spending up to a year at home with her newborn son, Theo, explains InStyle magazine.

At this point in time, the Duchess of Cambridge has closets filled to the gills with fashionable garments tastefully curated by her personal stylist. Although there’s no danger that the in-vogue young royal will run out of clothes, royal watchers everywhere are looking forward to Tash’s return.
