It looks like Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘Hot Girl Summer’ is cooling down right in time for Fall in the form of a new, cozy love interest. That’s right, Stallion is boo’d up with rapper Moneybagg Yo!

Who is Moneybagg Yo?
Demario DeWayne White, Jr, known by his stage name as Moneybagg Yo, is a former street rapper turned Billboard hitmaker.
Like Stallion, who hails from Houston, TX, Moneybagg Yo is from the south and was born and raised in Memphis, TN.
Yo started penning music as far back as 2012 with popular mixtapes ‘From The Da Block 2 Da Booth’ and ‘October 20th.’ In 2016, he released three more mixtapes with one garnering him the Memphis Hip Hop Award for Mixtape of the Year. He has been successful in music features as well, working with YFN Lucci, Lil Durk, Quavo and Yo Gotti just to name a few.
He is constantly touring and has added some impressive performances to his roster, appearing with Cardi B at 92Q Spring Bling Festival and is set to headline his hometown’s festival Memphis In May International Festival in 2020.
Rumors surface that Megan Thee Stallion is dating Moneybagg Yo
Rumors started in May of 2019 after Yo was spotted in several of Stallion’s Instagram Live videos. And, he added fire to those rumors when he made Stallion his #WCW in this Instagram post.
Stallion responded by posting a meme on her InstaStory that read: “You can have a hot girl summer and still have a man on the side….who said you had to choose?”
Megan Thee Stallion fans are not happy with the Moneybagg Yo dating rumors
Fans were not impressed by Meg’s choice in a new boyfriend.
For one, “The Big Ole Freak” rapper had urged young women to live their best lives with her “Hot Girl Summer” mantra and felt betrayed that she was now in a relationship.
Fans were also critical of Yo’s lifestyle. He is a father of seven and has children with four different women.
There was even an issue with on of Yo’s baby mamas on social media after finding out that he was dating Stallion.
Stallion apparently does not care about the baggage. “I don’t want kids,” she replied in her Instagram comments to a fan who suggested that she not to have the rapper’s eighth child.
Stallion makes it official
We didn’t have to wait too long for Stallion to confirm that she and Yo were a couple. In July 2019, the 24-year-old publicly claimed her new “hot boy” on Instagram. Yo followed with the same photo and captioned it, “Hot Boy Shxt.”
While some fans were against their relationship in the beginning, others showed their support.
One fan commented: “Well OK hotness on 1000.”Another followed up with: “Period sis! Let em tf know.” A third chimed in: “Here for it.”
The two signified their relationship even further by performing together in Philadelphia’s Class Of Festival in August.
