You can still get tickets to see the awards in person

Major award shows like the Oscars and the Grammys are private events that aren’t open to the general public. But the Country Music Awards are an exception. If you happen to be in Vegas this weekend, you may still be able to get tickets to see the awards in person at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Available tickets range in price from $375 to $600, not including taxes and fees. Doors open at 3:30 p.m., and everyone must be seated by 4:30. The event begins at 5 p.m. And don’t think about showing up in your flip-flops — attendees should wear cocktail or business casual dress.

Who are this year’s nominees?
