Who Is Tyson Fury Married to and Does He Have Kids?

Tyson Fury is a boxing champion who made headlines over the weekend of Feb. 21 for his grueling match against fellow fighter Deontay Wilder. He defeated Wilder in the seventh round to win the WBC heavyweight title in the highly-anticipated rematch to their 2018 battle.

Following the victory, Fury was seen celebrating in the ring with his wife, Paris. But who is she exactly, how long have they been together, and do they have kids?

Who is Paris Fury?

Like Fury, Paris grew up in England and was raised in a Gypsy family.

“I am a traveler, I am a gypsy. I was brought up in caravans when I was a little girl,” she told The Irish Mirror in a 2019 interview.

“It’s just the traditional lifestyle; there’s no real definition, there’s no bloodline because we never went to the doctor to say we are who we are,” she continued. “There was no paperwork, there are still gypsies today who can’t read or write; we’re just that old-fashioned.”

As an adult, Paris got into blogging and the beauty industry. She documents many of her life experiences on her Instagram page, which has more than 200,000 followers, at the time of this writing.

How did she meet Tyson Fury and how long have they been together?

According to The Irish Mirror, Paris met Fury at a mutual friend’s wedding when she was 15 and he was 18. They reportedly bonded and began dating after Paris turned 16.

“He was my first boyfriend as I was not allowed a boyfriend until the age of 16. He is the only boyfriend I have had,” she told the outlet. “Tyson would train in boxing during the week and then come and see me at the weekend. I would always be so excited at the thought of seeing him.”

At some point in their relationship, Tyson popped the question. They married in 2008 after three years together.

“Even after we got engaged, Tyson would sleep in a caravan in the yard of my parents’ home, while I slept inside the house,” Paris told The Irish Mirror. “We didn’t sleep together until after we got married. That is the traveler’s way.”

Paris is regularly photographed at her husband’s matches, which admittedly are hard to watch. She opened up to The Guardian in 2011 about how difficult it can be to watch Fury fight, saying she fears that he will one day get seriously injured.

“I don’t get nervous until, literally, I hear his music and he starts walking out,” she explained. “My stomach turns upside down. That’s when you think, ‘He’s going in that ring against someone who wants to hurt him.’ Before that, it’s OK because he’s happy and excited and telling me he’s going to win. It all changes when I hear the music but I remember to trust him. I always think he’s going to be all right in the end.”

She’s said in interviews that she would love for Fury, 31, to retire, but he doesn’t plan on hanging up his gloves until he turns 40.

Do Tyson and Paris Fury have kids?

Paris and Tyson share a total of five children. They have three sons named Prince and two daughters: Venezuela and Valencia. Their eldest child, Venezuela, was born in 2009.

Not much is known about their kids, but reports say they live a happy life in a modest home in Morecambe, Lancashire.
