Coming off the heels of Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s explosive performance of the Oscar-winning song, “Shallow” at the 2019 Academy Awards, A Star Is Born is returning to theaters. The acclaimed musical drama follows Cooper’s Jackson, a rock star who is fighting some personal demons and Gaga’s Ally — a waitress, and struggling musician.
Cooper, who also directed the film, and Gaga has such sizzling chemistry that many people are convinced that they are seeing each other in real life. If you missed A Star Is Born in theaters the first time around, you can check out the film for yourself and see what everyone is talking about.

A Star is Born was originally released in theaters Oct. 5, 2018 –so it’s been a couple of months since folks have been able to catch the film on the big screen. Riding the colossal Oscars wave, Warner Bros. has decided to re-release the film for a limited run, and this time, fans are in for an extra special treat.
A Star is Born will return to theaters for just one week, but it will have an additional 12 minutes of footage tacked on to its 135 minute run time. This new cut will include a performance of “Is That Alright?” from Gaga and “Too Far Gone” from Cooper. It will also include a performance from the pair of them of the song, “Clover.”
Cooper made A Star is Born for just $36 million, and it has already brought in an astounding $425 million at the box office earning 8 Academy Award nominations and taking home one Oscar for Best Original Song.

During an interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Lady Gaga officially set the record straight about her relationship with Cooper. She said, “First of all, social media quite frankly is the toilet of the internet and what it has done to pop culture is abysmal. And people saw love, and guess what, that’s what we wanted you to see. This is a love song, the movie is a love story.” Gaga revealed that Cooper directed their entire Oscars performance of “Shallow” and that their intent was that people saw love –because it’s a love song.
