Why Are Fans Urging Ariana Grande To Cancel The Rest of Her ‘Sweetener’ Tour?

Ariana Grande has been hard at work entertaining fans as she continues to take her Sweetener tour all around the world.

With this being one of the biggest tours of the year, Grande hasn’t really been able to enjoy much downtime.

While Grande is set to perform until the end of this year, fans are concerned for the singer’s health and are now urging her to put an end to remainder of her tour.

Fans want Grande to put her mental health first

There is no question that Ariana Grande has been tirelessly giving her during her Sweetener World tour.

The singer kicked off her fourth concert tour this past May and has been performing in front of sold-out crowds night after night ever since.

While Ariana Grande has been open about her ongoing struggles of performing live, it seems as though the singer is continuing to experiences those issues.

On August 30, Grande took to Instagram to share that due to her “anxiety and depression have been at an all-time high” she had made the decision to cancel the meet and greets and sound check party that was scheduled for her concert in Antwerp, Germany.

The singer wrote on her Instagram Story:

“hi my loves
time for some honesty
my anxiety and depression have been at an all time high lately. i have been giving you all i’ve got and trying to push through as hard as i can and mask it. today has been an extra rough one. after a handful of panic attacks, i feel like the wisest decision would be to not do soundcheck party or m&g today and preserve my energy for the show. i don’t want to rush through our time together or seem shaky. i like spending actual time with you and i won’t be able to be present or give you the best of me today.
anybody that had m&g or soundcheck today will of course be fully reimbursed for this decision. i love you. i’m so sorry.
i promise i will absolutely give you the best show i can.

While many fans were supportive of Grande’s decision, others started the share their concern for the singer’s health on social media.

Seeing as though this wasn’t the first time she has struggled with her mental health on tour, fans are now urging the singer to end her tour and strictly focus on herself.

@ArianaGrande ari u need to cancel the tour. I’m not joking u need to for ur mental health. Months of tour left, u have to cancel them. Pls,” one fan pleaded on Twitter.

Another fan tweeted, “boo take some time for you, it’s okay if you wanna cancel the rest of the tour. just want you to be happy and feel good. but if you really wanna stay on tour, do it. take care love u @ArianaGrande.”

The singer has admitted to touring not being healthy for her

With Ariana Grande not even having gotten through the rest of her UK/European and the second leg of her US tour, many can’t help but worry that she eventually will burn herself out.

While music is something Grande will continue to love, performing night after night is keeps taking a toll on her health.

Back in April, the singer opened up about just how damaging performing and touring can be and many urged the singer then to take a break.

“I don’t think it is [healthy],” Grande tweeted to a fan. “It’s been v hard. I have sm on my mind and it’s so heavy and no energy to process or work thru any of it, but I’m trying hard. And I have the twins. And seeing you all is so nice. But it’s hard emotionally. I wish it were a year ago. I’d give anything.”

While there is no word on if Ariana Grande will actually cancel the rest of her Sweetener tour, we hope that she will do whatever she thinks is best for her health.
