Why Blac Chyna’s Mom Wants to Knock Wendy Williams’ Face Off

Over the past few months, fans have seen a different Wendy Williams than ever before. The talk show host has filed for divorce from her husband of over 20 years, moved out of the home that they shared, and is finally focusing on what makes her happy.

As part of this new lifestyle, Williams has been spending a lot of time with friends and has made a few new friends along the way. Most notably, the former radio DJ has become very close to reality star Blac Chyna. The pair have been seen out together frequently and the talk show host often talks about her friend on her show. But recent trouble between Williams and Chyna’s mom, Tokyo Toni, threatens to cause havoc on this new friendship.

Wendy Williams is making new friends

That’s all that Wendy Williams could say as she opened up her hot topics segment on the first show after her birthday celebration. Williams has recently made some major changes in her life and as she says, she’s happy with who she’s become.

After a tough few months, Williams admitted earlier this year that she was staying in a sober house. It was then revealed that her husband had been having an affair and that his mistress gave birth to the couple’s child. Williams finally decided enough was enough and filed for divorce from her husband Kevin Hunter April this year. Since she has split from Hunter, Williams has been out living a new life. She has been going out on the town, doing for her, and making new friends.

Wendy Williams and Blac Chyna met earlier this year

Williams and Chyna have known of each other for quite some time now. The two famously feuded back in 2016 when Chyna was dating Rob Kardashian. Williams made her opinion about Chyna known, essentially saying that she thought that Chyna was dating Kardashian because of his family name. Chyna was none too thrilled and took to social media to ask the talk show host if she had “lost her mind.”

Things were different when Williams invited the reality star to her talk show this spring. Chyna had broken up with Kardashian and came onto the show with “nothing off-limits.” The two women quickly became comfortable with one another and had an intimate conversation on the show. Later, Williams revealed that the two met up after the show for dinner and instantly clicked.

Since the initial meeting, Williams has been very vocal about her love for her new friend. They have been seen out together and Chyna even introduced Williams to a certain “special friend” who became the subject of tabloid gossip. Recently, the two paired up to celebrate the talk show host’s 55th birthday party. Williams invited her “dirty dozen” to celebrate in style and from all accounts, Chyna was the life of the party.

Blac Chyna’s mom is not a fan of Wendy Williams

Though Williams and Chyna have become close quickly, Chyna’s mom doesn’t appear to be a fan of the talk show host. Okay, that’s a major understatement – Chyna’s mom, Tokyo Toni, is out for blood.

During a recent Instagram story rant, Toni told the talk show host that if she ever udders her name again she’s “gonna talk.” She went on to say that the two had a “great” conversation and that she had “nothing to do but listen.” Toni had one last threat for Williams. According to Toni, she caught the talk show host doing drugs and she was going to out her to the world. The whole rant was laced with expletives and was an anger-filled attack.

The story appeared to be in response to Williams opinion on Chyna and her mother’s ongoing feud. As Williams does, she didn’t hold back when she told her audience what she thought of the pair’s relationship. In addition to telling her audience that she told Chyna that she thought her mother cared more about attention than her daughter, she also hinted that she thought Toni might be taking out some of her feelings about Chyna’s father on Chyna.

Chyna and Williams appear to be close, and Chyna has been a major player in helping the talk show host move on with her life. Right now, all we can hope is that Williams is right and that Toni’s words are just a cry for attention.
