Why ‘Blue Bloods’ Fans Are Angrily Tweeting at Netflix

The police show is still going strong with new episodes airing on CBS. However, a lot of Blue Bloods fans love watching the seasons before season 10.

They were previously able to watch most of the old episodes on Netflix, and now it has been removed. Find out what they have to say about the removal and more.

The first 9 seasons of ‘Blue Bloods’ was available on Netflix

Blue Bloods fans were able to watch the first nine seasons on Netflix for some time. That was majority of the show given it has recently started its 10th season. It looks like there is also no end in sight given star, Tom Selleck said he isn’t against signing on for more seasons.

“Well, let me say publicly, they didn’t offer me a two-year deal, and I don’t know why,” he told Deadline. “I signed up for a year because that’s what they were offering. I love the show. Don’t tell CBS that because I got to be a good negotiator.”

He continued to say why the show will still continue up to a certain point. “These people are related,” Selleck said. “So, as long as my fellow actors wanted to come back, and that was my only real criteria, I was coming back.”

It left Netflix on Nov. 5

Fans are no longer able to binge the police show because it left the platform on Nov. 5. There are still other options for fans who want to catch up on old episodes.

The show is available for purchase through Amazon. It’s also available to watch through CBS All Access.

However, Netflix is a very popular streaming service and fans aren’t happy that Blue Bloods was removed. Some are voicing this unhappiness on Twitter.

Fans are tweeting that they want Netflix to have the show again

One fan tweeted, “Hey @Netflix is there ANY reason to why you would take Blue Blood off OVERNIGHT when I was just watching it last night? I would greatly appreciate it if you could put it back. I’m heartbroken #Netflix#BlueBloods.”

Another fan tweeted, “@netflix is about to lose another customer. Been a member for many, many years. Tired of all of our family’s favorite TV shows leaving. With #BlueBloods leaving in November, so will my subscription. Price keeps going up, while good content keeps going down.”

Someone else added onto this tweet with, “I’m only on season four and they took #BlueBloods off! I am starting to hate #Netflix. I feel like my money would be better spent elsewhere.”

Some might assume that Blue Bloods won’t return given CBS has its own streaming service now. But according to What’s On Netflix, a new season of NCIS, Hawaii Five-0, Madam Secretary, and Criminal Minds were added this year. That also included season 9 of Blue Bloods before it was removed. NCIS, Madam Secretary, and Criminal Minds are still available on Netflix.

Only time will tell if there will be any plans for the show to return. Or if the anger from fans will calm down and they will turn to other platforms to watch older episodes.
