Eddie and Jamie were just partners for some time. They finally realized their feelings about each other and got married at the end of last season.

A lot of fans were looking forward to the wedding episode, but were angry that they didn’t get to see the couple’s vows. Estes talked about filming the wedding scene.

“We already did the vows at the dinner table…. But I’m grasping at straws. I got nothing,” admitted the actor to TV Line. He gave another reason why it might be good we didn’t get to see it.

“You know how Hitchcock taught us that the monster you don’t see is the scariest? Maybe the wedding you don’t see is the most beautiful?” he said.

Season 10 shows the couple’s struggles as newlyweds

The show picked up shortly after the couple’s wedding. Season 10’s premiere showed them struggling to find where to live together.

Jamie didn’t want to take a nice apartment with a huge discount just because he’s the son of the police commissioner. Eddie pushed back saying there is nothing wrong with them getting something for their work.

They finally settled on a nice little place together. Eddie also agreed to take the late shift at work and he would be working during the days.

In the episode, “The Real Deal” we saw the married couple not being able to eat meals together because of their shifts. They also struggled with wanting to protect each other despite them agreeing to take on a dangerous job. How do fans feel about their problems?

Some fans don’t think they’ll last

It looked like the couple had their happily ever after by walking down the aisle. However, some fans aren’t buying it.

One fan tweeted, “As I said on another post, it went too fast. I also commented that Jamko may not last 2gether [sic]. I Hope they chill out a bit. A cute couple though. The cast are a Great team & work so well 2gether [sic]. Family & Love is what they’re about.”

Some took Jamie’s side during their argument in the last episode. “Eddie needs to butt out! He had it! #BlueBloods,” one fan tweeted.

Another fan tweeted, “I’m sorry but Eddie and Jamie do not belong together. All they do is fight and its going to tear them apart. I would have rathered [sic] a Danny love interest instead of this #BlueBloods.”

Most Blue Bloods fans are still rooting for Eddie and Jamie to stay together. They also seem to be happy that they get to watch them at home more than being on the job.

We will have to wait and see if their arguments are just rough patches or if they’re leading to something more. It will take some work for them considering the changes they’ve made.
