Country music superstar Carrie Underwood has admitted that she’s having a bit of a rough time with her second pregnancy as it isn’t as easy as her first one was.

Entertainment Tonight spoke to the 2018 CMT Artists of The Year honoree at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where she revealed that this time is physically “harder” on her than when she carried her son, Isaiah.

“It’s definitely different than the first time,” Underwood stated. “When they say every pregnancy is different, it really is. Just different symptoms. I feel like this one is just a little harder on my body for some reason.”

Despite this time around being more difficult on her than the first she still said overall things have been “good.”

Underwood and her husband, retired NHL star Mike Fisher, have been busy prepping for the arrival of baby No. 2 and are getting ready to move into another house. Following Underwood’s fall in 2017, which led to her receiving dozens of stitches in her face, sources revealed that she and Fisher were “done with the neighborhood” and looking to change their address. They have lived in their current home since 2010.

Underwood admitted that she hasn’t gone shopping for the new baby yet but will start that after they move. ”I haven’t bought anything yet, we still have some of the stuff, cribs, and stuff from my son,” she said. “I’ll start buying stuff once we’re there. It’d be pointless to buy it and then move it.”

Last month, the country songbird sat down for an interview with CBS Sunday Morning and candidly talked about how she suffered three miscarriages in the last two years, revealing, “We got pregnant [in] early 2017, and didn’t work out. And I got pregnant again in the spring, and it didn’t work out. Got pregnant again, early 2018. Didn’t work out.”

Now though, she and Fisher could not be happier about this pregnancy as the country songbird previously announced with her fans in a three-part Instagram video. “Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond,” she gushed. “We’re just so excited and glad you guys can share in this and be a part of this with us.”

They already have a name for the new baby too but they’re not ready to share what that is just yet. “We have picked out a name, but we’re keeping that to ourselves right now,” Underwood explained.

The American Idol alum also explained that the couple’s 3-year-old is thrilled to be a big brother, however, there is one thing he told his parents he wants no parts of. “He says he won’t change any poopy diapers,” Underwood said before adding, “Maybe I can change his mind.”
