Jenelle Evans announced she filed for divorce from David Eason
The former reality star gave an update on her relationship on Instagram. She announced that she decided to leave Eason.
“The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know thats [sic] what is best for me, and for my kids,” read part of her statement.
It continued, “Today I’ve filed papers to start that process. I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together. But you’ll hear from us again soon.”
A source later claimed to E! News that there was a reason she left. “She is looking out for her own welfare and the welfare of her children,” said the insider. “She has had a lot of relationships and she really wanted to make this one work and did everything she could, but David really just dragged her through the mud. Some people just cannot be helped.”
Evans reportedly wants full custody of Ensley
It’s still early in the divorce process for Eason and Evans. However, Evans is reportedly onto making plans when it comes to child custody.
TMZ reports that the mother plans on getting full custody of their daughter, Ensley if their case goes to court. She reportedly feels like she’s the more fit parent, but doesn’t plan to keep the child away from her father.
The father hasn’t talked about custody. He did react to this report once it was published.
Eason dissed her for reportedly wanting full custody of their daughter
It looks like Eason isn’t against publicly dissing his ex online. He reportedly posted a message on his Instagram story about Evans on Nov. 3.
According to Us Weekly, he posted a screenshot of a story on TMZ reporting that she is seeking full custody of their daughter, Ensley. He then shared another TMZ story from 2018 about her being involved in a road rage accident. He wrote the words, “But this okay” next to the story.
He also posted a picture with Ensley and his other daughter, Maryssa with the caption, “We had so much fun last weekend! Maryssa wanted to get her ear cartilage pierced but I couldn’t find a place in town to do it under 14 years old. New pair of Van’s it is I guess.” The former reality star hasn’t posted on social media since her big announcement.
