Why Everyone Is Rooting for Britney Spears to Get Better Soon
Britney Spears has been making headlines lately because of her recent stay at a wellness center. Due to the fact that the 37-year-old pop icon has battled mental breakdowns in the past, many of her fans are worried about her well-being now. Fans are also concerned over the fact that there has been a lot of speculation as to whether she checked herself into the facility or if she was forced to stay there.
No matter why Britney has gone to the facility, one thing is clear: Her fans are desperately wanting her to get better.
What led to Britney Spears’ ‘breaking point’?
Britney Spears’ father, Jamie, has always been a steady rock in Britney’s life. This is especially true since he was granted legal conservatorship over her business affairs after her infamous meltdown in 2007.
Being that she and her father have such a close relationship, we can only imagine how difficult it must have been for her to see her father’s health rapidly declining after he suffered a rupture in his colon late last year. In January, the singer announced that she would be canceling her upcoming shows in Las Vegas to be with her dad.
According to Us Weekly, a source confirmed that her father’s condition seemed to be improving for a little while but then got worse. The source had said that once his condition started to get worse, Britney “couldn’t emotionally handle the thought of potentially losing him,” and that “was her breaking point.”
Another source told E News that the treatment center she went to was not treating her for substance abuse. “It’s not a rehab for drugs or alcohol, not a place she formally checks into and begins a ‘program,’ per say,” the source confirms. “This place affords her the opportunity to rejuvenate and rest, it gives her the ability to recharge with some real peace and quiet, so she is taking a few weeks to do that.”
Britney Spears and her dad both seem to be doing better
The source from E News also said Jamie seems to be doing better and Britney’s own recovery depends on her dad’s health. “Jamie is a strong person but his recovery took longer than he expected. He seems to be getting better, just slowly. After Britney is done at the wellness center, her next move really depends on Jamie and how he’s doing, so she’ll assess that when the time comes,” the source said.
Britney Spears has many well-wishers supporting her
For most people, having a job can sometimes be pretty stressful. However, for a child, that stress can be multiplied by 100, especially when your job is to perform in front of millions of people and make sure you are always looking your best and performing your best. Although the child actors and singers have the ability to become millionaires before they have even graduated high school, it can lead to a life of depression, anxiety, and substance abuse problems by the time they reach adulthood.
For that reason, many people are showing Britney compassion and support during her time of need. In fact, many celebrities have taken to social media to show their support.
Britney had recently uploaded a video to her Instagram page to let her fans know that she is doing well. Many fans, including several celebrities, commented on her video to show her their support. In fact, she has since checked out of the facility and returned home to be monitored.
Miley Cyrus had left a comment that said: “We love u so much, queen.” Other stars like Hayley Kiyoko, Tess Holiday, and Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley also commented on the video to tell her how much they loved her. The Days of Our Lives star, Lisa Rinna, tweeted “God bless @britneyspears” to let the iconic singer know that she is in her thoughts during this time.
While it is hard to say exactly what the future will hold for both Britney and her dad, we certainly wish the best for the entire Spears family and hope that Britney and her father are able to make a full recovery very soon.
