Why Everyone Thinks Farrah Abraham Is Coming Back to ‘Teen Mom OG’
If there’s anyone known for scandal and outspokenness in the world of Teen Mom, it’s Farrah Abraham. The infamous mother first got her start on 16 and Pregnant many years ago and then attained even more fame thanks to Teen Mom OG. We know now that Farrah no longer associates with the show, of course, but through her various businesses and social media presence, she’s still managed to stay in the spotlight with her daughter, Sophia, through the years.
Fans would never expect Farrah to return to Teen Mom OG after her explosive leave from the show, but now, it seems many suspect the show may ask her to come back. Here’s why.
Bristol Palin announced she’s leaving the program
Farrah’s clearly unlike any of the other moms on Teen Mom, but the producers tried to keep ratings high by bringing in another famous face to replace her — and that was Bristol Palin. The famous daughter of politician Sarah Palin had children young, and though she wasn’t on 16 and Pregnant like all of the others from Teen Mom OG, producers still thought she would bring in high ratings. Unfortunately, she couldn’t bring in the numbers like Farrah could — and now, Bristol is set to leave the show.
Bristol announced the reason for her leaving on Instagram. As she wrote, “teen mom OG wasn’t a fit for me, it took away my peace.. and honestly – my peace has a price tag that no one but God can afford.” She then went on to explain that she’s not impressed by money and she doesn’t “entertain bs,” either. This isn’t the first time Bristol has spoken out against Teen Mom, as Fox News notes she’s been unhappy in the past with how she was portrayed on the show. “Every week is a continued disappointment with their inaccuracies and false narratives. I hate getting all emo on you guys but I’ve kept quiet for too long about it. Don’t believe everything you see on TV,” she wrote.
One source says Farrah would consider returning
With Bristol leaving, fans are starting to wonder who could possibly take place — and many believe the only logical replacement is Farrah. In Touch Weekly reminds us MTV let Farrah go from the show after she was notoriously difficult to work with, though Farrah’s explained her side of the story, too. According to her, MTV wasn’t happy she was working in the adult film industry, and that’s the real reason she’s no longer a part of the show. Whatever actually occurred, it seems the bad blood between her and MTV wasn’t long-lasting, as she appeared on the network hit Ex on the Beach not too long after being let go from Teen Mom.
So, would Farrah actually consider coming back to the show that first catapulted her to fame? A source told Radar Online that she’d consider it. “They should bring Farrah back. They need her on the show for ratings,” the source said. “They made a big mistake. For the right price, Farrah would come back. But she’s going to say, ‘I told you so!’”
Farrah may also be having money troubles, which could sway her back to Teen Mom
From the looks of her Instagram, Farrah lives quite the fabulous life — but it seems she may actually be having some money troubles more recently. Reports early on in 2019 found she failed to pay thousands of dollars in legal bills. Not only that, but she was in hot water with celebrity boxing match promoter Damon Feldman after she dropped out of the event and broke her contract. Damon sued Farrah for the breach and also came forward alleging that Farrah was begging him for money before the match even occurred.
Is it true Farrah’s hurting for cash? We’re not sure — but there’s no doubt both she and MTV could benefit from her return to Teen Mom OG. As controversial as she is, we’re all excited for that possibility.
