Why Fans Think Jinger and Jill Duggar Are Secretly Feuding

We’ve been keeping up with the Duggar family ever since Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar had their first 17 children. Now, all 19 of the Duggar kids are still in the spotlight thanks to TLC shows like Counting On — and a number of them are even married and starting families of their own. Two of the most famous Duggar women, Jinger and Jill, have families fans love to follow on social media. But many have started wondering if the sisters could actually be feuding. Here’s why fans are starting to suspect something’s amiss.

A weekend visit from family

It’s well-known that Jill is a midwife — and when it comes to her sister’s births, she’s always there to provide guidance and help out. And fans were shocked when Jill was seemingly absent around the time Jinger was set to give birth in June 2018. Celebrity Insider notes followers of Jinger and her husband, Jeremy, were freaking out when they thought the baby might arrive early, as Jeremy posted a photo of him and his pregnant wife with the caption, “ETA: soon.” But Jeremy was able to quell his followers by posting a photo of him, Jinger, and a number of other members of the Duggar family out and about. Unfortunately, the photo sparked more chaos for fans, as Jill was nowhere to be found.

While Jinger lives in Texas, the publication notes it appeared Jill was back in Arkansas at the time, which also sparked suspicion the sisters were not on good terms. And since Jinger always had a reputation for being the wild child while Jill was known for quietly following the rules, we can see how they may have drifted apart over the years.

Jinger posted a photo that many thought was passive aggressively against Jill

Fans of the Duggars will never forget when Jill’s husband, Derick Dillard, got them both removed from TLC’s Counting On. After Derick tweeted offensive commentary regarding transgender reality star Jazz Jennings and homophobic comments about designers Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, the network cut ties with Derick completely. And fans didn’t miss what Jinger posted just two days after Derick tweeted his homophobic comments.

In Touch Weekly reports Jinger took to Instagram to share a book she loves — and it’s titled She’s Got the Wrong Guy. “Hey single ladies, you may be interested in reading a book I am going through with some of the other women from my church—’She’s Got the Wrong Guy: Why Smart Women Settle’,” Jinger captioned the post. “Jeremy and I read it together and really enjoyed it.” It’s also worth mentioning that after the drama with Derick and TLC, Jeremy unfollowed the disgraced star on Twitter.

She’s has also hinted that Jessa is her favorite sister

Even if Jill and Jinger aren’t necessarily feuding, Jinger has made it clear who she feels most connected to in the family — and that’s Jessa. In 2017, Jinger posted a photo of her and Jessa as kids with the caption, “Best friends forever!” And though Jinger now lives in Texas while Jessa resides in Arkansas near their other family members, they do seem to make trips to see each other quite frequently. Jessa has even posted about her visits to see Jinger in Texas before, as she’s shared photos on her Instagram of their trip to Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Silos Baking Co., which resides in Waco.

Has Jill made any trips to see her sister in Texas? She may have — but it’s not nearly as talked about as Jessa and Jinger’s visits together.
