Why Isn’t ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ on Tonight, Sept. 16?
Tayshia Adams and John Paul Jones collectively shattered Bachelor Nation’s heart when they broke up during the Sept. 3 episode of Bachelor in Paradise Season 6. But it looks like there’s more heartbreak ahead. As the last episode approaches, fans might notice the reality series won’t be running its typical Monday and Tuesday schedule for its finale and reunion special. So why isn’t Bachelor in Paradise on tonight, Sept. 16? Don’t panic, because Bachelor in Paradise will be back sooner than you think.
When will ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ return?
If you’re stumbling upon this post on Sept. 16 and wondering if Bachelor in Paradise comes on tonight, we have some bad news. As it turns out, ABC plans to air the Dancing with the Stars Season 28 premiere during Bachelor in Paradise‘s usual Monday night time slot. So instead of catching up with your favorite Bachelor Nation castmates in Mexico, you’ll be watching Hannah Brown, the former lead of The Bachelorette, take the dancefloor in the two-hour DWTS premiere.
What happens in the ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ finale?
Quite frankly, the promo for the season 6 finale spills a lot of tea. “It’s the moment of truth,” host Chris Harrison says in the teaser. “Will Demi get cold feet? Can Clay commit to Nicole? Who will leave engaged? And who will leave brokenhearted?”
Harrison then hints at what’s to come in the reunion segment of the final episode. “All your favorites are back on one stage,” Harrison’s voiceover states. “It’s an explosive reunion show. What’s happened since everyone left paradise? Find out how it all ends.”
The preview also confirmed the reunion will reveal the next bachelor. “The moment you’ve all been waiting for,” Harrison says. “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our next bachelor. It’s all next Tuesday on the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise.”

Spoilers for the ‘BiP’ finale
Although the sixth Bachelor in Paradise finale will be on Sept. 17, blogger Reality Steve has already released spoilers about the finale and reunion. Prior to the season premiere, the franchise insider announced three engagements, including Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty, Chris Bukowski and Katie Morton, and Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin.
Of course, these engagements occurred a few months prior to the reunion special. So anything could have happened between filming. However, Reality Steve promised fans the couples said to be engaged are still together following the reunion special. There are also a handful of couples happily linked together without the promise of marriage, including Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert, Whitney Franswat and Connor Saeli, and Adams and Jones.
Reality Steve also spoiled The Bachelor announcement teased in the promo trailer. The blogger revealed the title will go to Peter Weber, the pilot from The Bachelorette with Hannah Brown.
As always, the spoilers courtesy of Reality Steve are unconfirmed by ABC. And for now, fans will just have to wait and see what happens. But after over a decade of shows, it’s safe to say the Bachelor franchise knows how to put on a grand finale. So stay tuned, because whatever unfolds on Sept. 17 will be wild.
