Why Jordan Rodgers Slammed Aaron’s California Fires Message on Twitter
Aaron Rodgers typically makes headlines for playing on the Green Bay Packers or his love life. But his strained relationship with his family has also become public over the years because his brother, Jordan was on The Bachelorette. His brother then revealed that his family don’t really talk to the football player and now he has slammed him once again. Here is everything to know about why Jordan Rodgers slammed Aaron’s message about the California wildfires on Twitter.
Jordan Rodgers claims Aaron didn’t check on their mom during the wildfires
Things took an awful turn when Aaron Rodgers shared a video message to raise awareness about wildfire recovery. “In Northern California where I was born and raised, the city of Paradise burned to the ground and many of the residents that got out are now displaced in my hometown of Chico and across the north state,” said Aaron Rodgers. “I personally reached out to my friends and the mayor of Chico to find out how to be of the most help. And raising money for the immediate needs and the long-term recovery is what’s needed most right now.” He then announced that he’s donating $1 million and is partnering up with State Farm to gather more donations for the cause.
Jordan Rodgers responded to the tweet by tweeting, “PLEASE DONATE, SPREAD AWARENESS & SEND LOVE. But when your own Mom is home alone during the fires, car packed ready to evacuate, & you miss the fundamental first step of compassion; calling your parents to make sure they are safe…. Everything else just feels like an act.”

Jordan previously revealed that his family don’t talk to Aaron Rodgers on The Bachelorette
This isn’t the first time the family’s feud has been made public. When Jordan Rodgers appeared on The Bachelorette he revealed to star, JoJo Fletcher that the family doesn’t really speak to him.
“It’s just the way he’s chosen to do life,” Jordan Rodgers said on the series. “I chose to stay close with my family and my parents and my brother [Luke].” When Fletcher met the rest of the Rodgers family they had more to say about the estranged relationship.
Their father, Edward said “fame can change you,” referring to the football player. There is also another brother named Luke who talked about the family drama. He said that it’s “something we don’t like to talk about a whole lot.” But also “it pains both of us. We miss our brother.”
Aaron Rodgers on the hand hasn’t been as open about the family drama. When Jordan Rodgers was on The Bachelorette he had one simple statement to give. “I haven’t seen the show, to be honest with you,” he told WISN “so it hasn’t really affected me a whole lot. As far as those kinds of things go, I’ve always found that it’s a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I’m just — I’m not going to speak on those things, but I wish him well in the competition.”
