Why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Still Need to Date After Baby Sussex Arrives
Date nights are an important part of any marriage. But they become exponentially more important when you bring kids into the equation. It’s important for couples to have alone time together to connect and get away from it all.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are all too familiar with how difficult it can be to have some time alone. With their baby due any time now, the couple will have to work harder than ever to make sure they can find some alone time.
Baby Sussex is due very soon
Meghan Markle recently revealed that the newest royal is due in April. That means, in just a few short weeks, we may have another bundle of joy to obsess over.
Mom and dad have been busy getting everything ready for baby’s arrival. Markle reportedly used a mood board to prepare the baby’s nursery. The board helped the mom-to-be keep track of paint colors, textures, and other important details.
For the walls, the Duchess chose a Eucalyptus infused paint. Eucalyptus will give off a soothing scent, as well as provide antibacterial and antiseptic properties. The colors are gender neutral, which could mean that the parents have chosen not to find out their baby’s gender or they simply wish to have neutral decor.
In addition to the nursery, the couple equipped their home with a new monitoring system. The system will help the first time parents keep an eye on their little one, even when they are away, thanks to its smartphone connection.
The couple recently shared a secret date night
Prince Harry and his wife stepped out for a night alone this past weekend. The two attended a performance of Tina: The Musical, a play about singer Tina Turner’s life. The royal couple is often seen out together, but usually on official business.
The details of the couple’s visit were kept under guard, as the couple wanted a private night out. With only a few months until their baby’s arrival, it’s important they take advantage of any alone time they can get.
Though it was a private affair, their attendance did not go unnoticed. Both the production company and the lead actress thanked the duke and duchess for their appearance.
Date nights are important after children
It may be difficult to get a truly private date night, but it’s important that the couple continues to try to sneak away for alone time after the baby is born. There are many reasons why date night is important. Once you have a baby, it gets harder to find alone time together. This makes simple things like communication and romance a lot more difficult. Couples can often find themselves worrying so much about the baby that they forget to put the necessary work into their marriage. Date nights allow partners to break away, connect, and have a little romance.
Who will watch Baby Sussex?
We already know that the royal couple doesn’t intend on hiring a nanny, at least for the time being. And obviously, inviting the teenage girl from down to the street is not an option. So just who will watch baby Sussex when mommy and daddy go on date night? Grandma, of course.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have already invited Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland to come stay with them once the baby is born. It’s unclear whether Ragland will be moving to England permanently, but she has quit her job in Los Angeles and already has a room at the couple’s cottage. Ragland will reportedly be staying at Frogmore Cottage for the first couple months. If this is the case, date nights just got a whole lot easier.
