Why Royal Insiders Claim Kate Middleton Is Finally Ready To Be Queen

There will come a day in the not-too-distant future when Kate Middleton will become Queen Consort to Prince William, who is second in line to the throne. With her future clearly laid out, Middleton has been preparing to become Queen ever since she tied the knot with William in 2011. While Middleton has faced plenty of criticism over the years, royal insiders claim the Duchess of Cambridge is finally ready to become Queen.

Kate Middleton expands her royal duties

One clear sign that Middleton is ready to become Queen is the fact that she has been taking on more and more responsibility as a member of the royal family. After giving birth to her third child with Prince William last year, Middleton has taken over an important role that used to belong to Queen Elizabeth.

According to Express, the royal family recently announced that Kate Middleton has been granted the patronage of the Royal Photographic Society. Elizabeth held the title for the past 67 years and was happy to pass it on to her granddaughter-in-law.

“The Duchess of Cambridge has become Patron of the Royal Photographic Society @The_RPS,” Kensington Palace shared. “The Duchess of Cambridge has become Patron of the Royal Photographic Society @The_RPS.”

Kate Middleton has been interested in photography for a long time and her new title is the perfect fit. It also helps Middleton prepare for becoming Queen Consort once William takes the throne, as she will likely be named patron for several organizations when William is at the head of the monarchy.

Royal experts believe the move is a clear sign that Middleton is ready to become Queen, especially after she has been accepting more and more responsibility over the past few years. Not only does this teach Middleton the skills it takes to be Queen, but it will also make the transition to the throne a lot easier.

Prince William preps to become king

While Kate Middleton has been working hard on her royal duties, she is not the only one working towards a future goal. Middleton’s husband, William, has also been preparing for the day he takes the throne. Inside sources claim that William has been meeting in secret in order to learn all the ins and outs of being the Prince of Wales.

William will receive the title once his father, Prince Charles, inherits the crown. As the new Prince of Wales, William will be tasked with managing the Duchy of Cornwall, which is estimated to be worth around $1.3 billion.

Although Prince William and Kate Middleton are clearly taking their royal duties seriously, their relationship recently came under fire. Earlier this year, rumors surfaced that Middleton had experienced a falling out with one of her close friends.

Those reports turned into speculation that William had an affair with the woman in question, though no evidence to support the claims have surfaced. Despite the scandal, William and Middleton have put up a united front and their relationship appears stronger than ever.

Kate Middleton and Prince William visit Queen Elizabeth

Cheating scandals aside, William and Middleton recently ventured to Scotland for a quick visit with Queen Elizabeth at Balmoral Castle. Elizabeth travels to Balmoral every summer to spend a few weeks away from her royal duties. Only select members of the royal family are invited to visit Balmoral, and Prince William and Kate Middleton flew to the estate last week with all three of their children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

A few lucky royal watchers caught a glimpse of the family departing their plane in Scotland and were surprised by the fact that William and Middleton flew on a regular passenger jet.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron of Action on Addiction, attended the first annual gala dinner in recognition of Addiction Awareness Week. Before the dinner, The Duchess of Cambridge met former Action on Addiction clients Jay Otty and Melanie Bennett, who worked to prepare food for the gala dinner. Jay is a key member of the ‘front of house’ staff at @Brink_Liverpool – Action on Addiction’s ‘dry bar’ in the city. He has worked in the hospitality industry for seven years, having now been clean and sober for nine years. Melanie says that Action on Addiction’s Self-Help Addiction Recovery Programme, which taught her coping mechanisms and new behaviours, and started the grieving process for her father which she had been blocking for ten years, helped saved her life. Speaking at the dinner, The Duchess said: "What’s remarkable about Action on Addiction is that it goes beyond helping those who are suffering on the courageous journey into recovery – it also lends direct support to the children and families affected by addiction – for as long as it takes." Action on Addiction is the only UK addictions charity that works across all the areas of research, treatment, family support and professional education. The aim of Addiction Awareness Week is to provide a platform for focused conversations about the many different facets of addiction, to enable a wide range of organisations to engage with people and families who may be affected by addiction, and to raise public awareness of the far-reaching and negative effects of addiction. The ultimate aim is that as honest but inspirational stories are shared, those affected by addiction will then feel more able to take the necessary steps to access help, hope and freedom from their addiction. @ActionOnAddiction #AddictionAwarenessWeek

This contrasts with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who were recently criticized for flying a private jet to visit Elton John in the south of France. In light of the backlash, John spoke out in support of Harry and Markle, informing fans that he let them borrow his plane so that they could travel to his home in complete safety.

Several celebrities also voiced their support for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, including Ellen DeGeneres, Pink, Jameela Jamil, Jessica Mulroney, and Nacho Figueras. Harry and Markle are expected to travel to Balmoral in a few weeks to visit the Queen.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have not commented on preparing for their future as the King and Queen Consort of England.
