In case you missed it, the excitement for Avengers: Endgame has reached epic proportions. Fans literally broke the internet when the movie’s tickets went on sale and for those who weren’t able to get their hands on opening night tickets, some are paying upwards of $10,000. It’s hard to believe that this will be the last time we see our favorite superheroes together, but Marvel and everyone else in the movie industry
What can we expect from the final chapter? Just how long will the last movie be? And will fans leave the theaters satisfied?
‘Avengers: Endgame’ has been a long time coming
The Avengers movies have been growing in popularity since Iron Man was released in 2008. Since the films initial release, an additional 21 Marvel Cinematic Universe films have been produced, including Endgame.
Infinity Wars ended with the devastating loss of many of our favorite characters and fans have been anxiously awaiting whether any of these heroes survived. While the cast and crew have done a good job keeping from revealing any spoilers, fans have been busy concocting their own theories and looking for clues in the clips released by Marvel. With less than three weeks until the premiere, fans don’t have to wait much longer for answers.

Avengers: Endgame is gearing up to be one of the biggest if not the biggest cinematic release ever. As such, cinemas and the entertainment industry are looking to get all they can out of the film’s release.
AMC theaters just announced that they have the perfect way for true Marvel fans to view the last chapter in the Avengers story. Starting two days before the release of Endgame, select AMC theaters will air the entire MCU sequence back-to-back, non-stop, leading up to the release of the final film. The whole event is only for the most extreme and dedicated fans, considering the monster marathon lasts a staggering 60 hours.
‘Avengers: Endgame’ will be the longest Marvel movie ever
After the way that Avengers: Infinity War ended, fans are left with a lot of questions. It’s mind-boggling to think about how the movie is going to give us the answers we are looking for and wrap everything up. Thankfully, producers have allotted plenty of time for fans to get a proper ending.
Avengers: Endgame tallies in at 3 hours and 2 minutes, making it the longest MCU film. The movie is 20 minutes longer than Infinity War and almost an hour longer than Captain Marvel. Does a longer runtime mean a better movie? According to box office performance numbers, it just might. The franchise’s longest movie to be released, Infinity Wars is also the highest grossing movie for MCU. Meanwhile, the shortest films in the series, The Incredible Hulk and Thor: The Dark World are also the lowest rated Marvel films.
Will ‘Avengers: Endgame’ live up to the hype?
There is so much excitement surrounding the release of Avengers: Endgame. The only question is: “Will it be everything fans have hoped for?” According to the show’s stars, fans will get what they are looking for and then some. When asked by ABC News whether the movie would live up to the hype, the Avengers crew answered with a resounding “yes.” Jeremy Renner who plays Hawkeye said, “Yeah. I’m pretty certain of that.” Chris Evans added, “From what I’ve heard, it seems like it’s kind of the crown jewel.” When asked for one word to describe the end, Evans chose “satisfying.”
