Will Jeremy and Audrey Roloff Be on the New Season of ‘Little People, Big World’?
We’ve been watching the Roloff family for years, and now the family is gearing up for yet another exciting season of Little People, Big World. From the beginning, we’ve watched Matt and Amy Roloff navigate life as little people raising their four children and holding together Roloff Farms. A lot has changed over the years, of course, as Matt and Amy are no longer together and are now getting serious with their significant others. Not only that, but many of their children have decided to call it quits on the production — and Jeremy Roloff is one of them.
While Jeremy is of average height, he attained fame for having a twin brother, Zach, who has dwarfism. We’re sure to see plenty of Zach on the new season — but is there any chance Jeremy and his wife, Audrey, could return to the screen? Here’s what we think.
Jeremy stated in the past he’s quitting the show for good
When Jeremy first began starring on Little People, Big World, he was just 16 years old, so a lot has changed for him over the years. Not only has he married Audrey Roloff, but he’s also started his own business with her to help others attain covenant marriages, and the two run a podcast together and have been writing books. Not only that, but Audrey and Jeremy have since had a daughter together. After the birth of their child, Ember, the couple made it clear that they were ready to move forward with their lives without being followed by film production crews.
As Jeremy announced on Instagram back in July 2018, “A year ago I made the decision that this season would be our last. It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride.” He also mentioned that he and Audrey “weren’t disappearing” from the public eye, however, which had fans wondering if they’d ever be back on TV.
Their daughter, Ember, wasn’t featured in the show’s promotional trailer, either
It’s hard to believe Season 19 of LPBW is gearing up, and the trailer released by TLC has fans super excited for what’s to come. It looks like fans will be getting plenty of moments from Zach and Tori Roloff. Jeremy’s twin brother has developed quite a following over the years thanks to his marriage and frequent participation on the show, and it’s clear while some of the other members of the family may be taking a backseat, Zach and Tori are here to stay.
Jackson Roloff, Zach and Tori’s son who’s under 2 years old, is also featured in the trailer, so fans know we’ll be seeing plenty of him. Unfortunately for viewers hoping to get a glimpse of Ember, Jeremy and Audrey’s daughter, we’re not sure how often we’ll see her. From Instagram, we see that Ember and Jackson frequently spend time together, but Ember is completely absent from the new LPBW sneak peak. This leads us to believe Jeremy and Audrey won’t even make any guest appearances on this season.
The choice to leave the cameras behind may have been mainly Audrey’s decision
Perhaps Jeremy would stay on the show if Audrey had any desire to do so, but it seems she also wants nothing to do with the production of LPBW. In fact, Radar Online notes that not only did she support Jeremy’s decision to leave the show behind, but she also may have influenced it. As she said of being in front of the cameras, “You never get used to it honestly. My sister-in-law, we always joke, like, ‘You never get used to it.’ Because we are not created to be in the public eye, it’s just a weird thing.”
It seems Audrey always had a bit of trouble accepting the cameras following her around, too — but she accepted being on reality TV for Jeremy’s sake. After she had her daughter and she and Jeremy discussed their wants and needs for the future, however, it’s clear Audrey never wanted her stint on television to last that long. For this reason, we highly doubt she’ll want to return to the show in the future.
