Born in 1982, Kelly Clarkson‘s first professional singing experience was with the school choir in high school. Following her high school graduation, Clarkson decided to pursue a career in entertainment but didn’t have much luck, getting turned down by several record labels.

Finally, in 2002, Clarkson took the opportunity to appear on the very first season of a show called American Idol. She joined other contestants in working towards winning a recording contract.

Clarkson became a fan favorite on the show due to her winning personality and undeniable talent. She went on to win, becoming the first-ever American Idol. Right away, her career took off, and her single “A Moment Like This” stayed at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks.

In the years since her win on Idol, Clarkson’s popularity has remained consistently high, and her songs like “Breakaway,” “Since U Been Gone,” “Stronger,” and “Heartbeat Song” have become standards in pop music. Clarkson has also had a picture-perfect personal life, marrying Brandon Blackstock in October 2013 and going on to welcome two children with him.

What will Clarkson’s talk show be about?

Surprising all of her fans, Clarkson made an announcement in summer 2019 that she was working on a very special project — her very own talk show. She revealed that the show would focus primarily on interviews with both famous and regular people and that the most important thing to her was that the show helps to establish connections between people.

Clarkson stated that with so much divisiveness and unhappiness in the world, a show that fosters communication might help to forge better relationships.

Clarkson’s first guest was to be comedian Kevin Hart, but following his car accident in early September, actor Dwayne Johnson will be taking his place. Clarkson also recently opened up about some other guests that viewers might be able to look forward to appearing on the show.

What guests will Kelly Clarkson have on her show?

Kelly Clarkson has never forgotten where she came from and how she got her start in the entertainment industry. Recently, she gave an interview to extratv, where she talked about a trio of guests that she’s working on booking to appear on her talk show — Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson, the judges who voted her to the top on the very first season of American Idol.

Clarkson stated that the only thing they have to solidify is the exact timing of the visit since all three of the former judges have very busy schedules.

While there is no confirmed date for the iconic trio’s appearance on the show just yet, Clarkson said that she’s “working on it” and that she’s excited for them to appear. Simon Cowell has also referenced an upcoming appearance on Clarkson’s show, saying that they have all “talked about it” and praising Clarkson as a “great person.”

There’s no doubt that fans would be thrilled to see Clarkson reuniting with Abdul, Cowell, and Jackson, and that an episode featuring all four of them would equal some seriously great ratings.
