Will Lisa Vanderpump from ‘RHOBH’ Attend the Reunion?
After the bombshell reports that Lisa Vanderpump is leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a new report asserts fans will be seeing even less of her too.
According to People, Vanderpump won’t be joining the other ladies on the couch for the season nine reunion. In a recent Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show clip, Vanderpump said she has no desire to speak to the other cast members again. And said the women basically ganged up on her.
Kyle Richards, who was a longtime friend of Vanderpump, said in the clip she would prefer Vanderpump come back and film with the ladies. “If Lisa were to all of a sudden show up, of course, we’d be taken aback,” Richards says. “But everybody wants to move forward so much that we’ll work through this.”
Richards won’t get that wish (during the reunion at least)
Vanderpump, who appears to be a private person, may eventually make up with Richards. But it won’t be on live television and certainly not during one of Bravo’s famous heated reunions. “The objective of the reunion is to reunite, right? And I have no inclination to reunite with the women who’ve been harassing me for 10 months now,” Vanderpump shared with DailyMailTV. “So in all probability, no.”
According to Vanderpump, she feels as though the other women were all against her. As a result, “I think they’ve made it pretty impossible for me to go back frankly,” she added. “So … no.”
Vanderpump stopped filming with the cast after her infamous fight with Richards. Her appearances on the show have been brief and singular as the other women plan girls’ trips and meet for lunch.
Richards always has hope
While Vanderpump seems to be walking away forever, Richards has continuously expressed hope that the friends would reconnect. Before the season premiered, Richards told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest her friendship with Vanderpump was nonexistent.
Richards said she hoped they would eventually reconnect. “My status right now with Lisa is not good,” she told the morning show hosts. “I’m sad to say we’re not speaking at the moment.” But added, “I really hope so [there would be a reconcilliation]. Because I care about Lisa and we’ve been friends for a long time.”
Vanderpump and Richards also had a recent “run-in” while on the town. “I actually ran into Kyle the other day,” Vanderpump said. “It was OK.” Not exactly heartwarming, but certainly not screaming on Rodeo Drive either.
Fans want to see Vanderpump
Many fans think a Vanderpump-less reunion is going to be a snoozefest. “She doesn’t need RHOBH,” one person tweeted. “What oh what will those terrible women talk about at the reunion now that LVP has stepped away?”
Others agreed saying the reunion will be a non-event. “Cool. No one is going to watch the @rhobh reunion because no one give a flying f**k about this season.”
However, others remind Vanderpump to take her own advice she doled out to James Kennedy from Vanderpump Rules. “Because she encouraged James to sit through a reunion where they ganged up on him 9-on-1 And told him not to run away from it and to handle it and to speak his peace. She should take her own advice.”
