Will Nicole and Azan from ’90 Day Fiancé’ Ever Get Married?
Nicole Nafziger and Azan Tefou are one of the most dramatic and tumultuous couples on 90 Day Fiancé. It’s been several years and Tefou has still failed to secure a visa, and the couple has yet to fully marry.
Amongst allegations of cheating on both sides, and many fans’ fear that Tefou is scamming Nafziger, it’s getting to the point where viewers are wondering if they’ll ever tie the knot.
They are engaged, and they made plans to get married twice in the past. However, it seems they fell through. That might not be the end of it. Could wedding bells still be on the horizon?
Wedding plans put on hold
Nafziger and Tefou have been engaged for a while now, and have already had to postpone wedding plans twice. The first wedding was called off when Nafziger failed to acquire the proper wedding documentation. And now, the second attempt has been postponed as well. Obviously, this isn’t a great sign.
Nafziger held a Q&A on Instagram to help clear the air for fans. One fan asked her, “Why didn’t you guys actually get married when you were supposed to?”
In her response, Nafziger wrote, “Too much pressure not enough time or money. You can’t rush this kind of stuff. Do it in the right moment and it wasn’t the right moment yet.”
That seems like a reasonable answer on its face, but at the same time, it doesn’t really delve into many details. It’s a bit vague. After two postponements, you’d expect an answer with a little more depth to it. So is the third time the charm for these two?
Opening a beauty store
After postponing their wedding for financial reasons, Nafziger announced that she and Tefou had plans to instead open up a beauty shop in Morocco. Nafziger’s family was immediately suspicious.
While Nafziger herself contributed $6,000, Tefou only contributed $500 to the entire project. Joe Farouker, Nafziger’s step-father, had the following to say about Tefou, “He’s living off of her,” Joe Fouraker claimed to Radar. “She sends him money. He was going to start a business. My wife was there for a week for the wedding. He would never allow anybody to see his place of business.”
He went on to add, “He doesn’t have one! He wasn’t intending to set one up. He’s milking her for all he can.”
Nafziger’s mother had similar misgivings. “I am surprised the purchasing of the store takes precedence over the wedding,” Nafziger’s mom said. “That looks suspicious. Maybe this whole store thing is Azan’s get-rich-quick scheme.”
Azan claimed all photos of the store were deleted, and that he didn’t want to show it to anyone until it was complete.
A destination wedding?
Reports of Nafziger and Tefou’s possible upcoming nuptials have been circling for some time now. Some have theorized that Nafziger will be tying the knot with Tefou in his home country of Morocco, rather than marrying him in the U.S.
Due to Tefou’s issues acquiring a K-1 visa, this could be an opportunity to bring Tefou into the U.S. In Touch Weekly reports that the wedding could happen as soon as this summer.
A source familiar with Nicole told Radar Online that, “[Nicole]’s sticking around for her sister’s wedding in June then going back to Morocco. Her intentions are to get married while she’s over there.”
This will be the first time in a year that Nafziger has seen Tefou in person, though they do keep in touch via texting and Skype calls. Perhaps we’ll see the two would-be lovebirds in domestic bliss after all.
