Will the Queen or Prince Charles Ask Meghan Markle to Stop Acting So “Hollywood”?
When the legal drama Suits premiered back in 2011, Meghan Markle got her well-deserved big break as Rachel Zane. As the years went by, fans of the show admired her more and more, and when she began dating Prince Harry, she became a household name.
Suddenly, the “Meghan Markle effect” took the world by storm, with everyone copying her signature messy bun hairstyle, classy jewelry choices, and elegant outfits. Brides everywhere are even wearing gowns similar to the one Meghan wore when she exchanged vows with Harry.
Having grown up in Los Angeles, California, and risen to fame in the world of acting, Meghan is definitely a celebrity in her own right. However, some people are wondering if she is a little too “Hollywood” for the royal family and if Queen Elizabeth or Prince Charles will have to step in.
Is Meghan a rule-bender?
She certainly is! While she does her best not to actually break the rules altogether, Meghan definitely enjoys putting her own personal touch on things. At times, her dresses may be slightly too short for the queen’s preference, and on more than one occasion, she has worn outfits that bare her shoulders!
While the Duchess of Sussex always looks amazingly styled and perfectly put together, we have to say that it doesn’t seem that she minds the fact that Queen Elizabeth may raise her eyebrows just a little.
She isn’t quiet about her friendships
While Kate Middleton certainly has close friends, we don’t really know who many of them are!
However, with a life in the spotlight, Kate surely needs plenty of friends with whom she can talk, lean on for support, and let loose when she needs to. Meghan, on the other hand, has many close friends, most of which have connections to Hollywood just as she does.
The Duchess of Sussex is tight with all of her former Suits co-stars, as well as Amal Clooney, Priyanka Chopra, and many more.
She had a star-studded baby shower
It was a huge deal when Meghan traveled to New York for a lavish baby shower hosted by her good friend Serena Williams! Photographers were lined up in the city’s snowy streets to get as many pictures as possible of Meghan as well as her famous guests.
It was widely speculated that the baby shower was frowned upon by the queen and other members of the royal family, as they usually don’t have such high-profile parties.
Meghan is somewhat demanding
It recently came to light that Meghan is a little difficult to work for! Supposedly, she wakes up at 4:30 a.m. and starts emailing and texting her staff only half an hour later.
This has been a little tough for her assistants and support staff, and it has been reported that more than one person has resigned from their position as an employee of the duchess.
Will Queen Elizabeth or Prince Charles be forced to step in?
While Meghan doesn’t seem to be completely going against royal protocol, she does tend to do her own thing!
This leaves many royal fans wondering if one of the other royals, such as the queen or Prince Charles, will have to have a talk with Meghan and possibly Harry and ask her to conform just a little more to royal rules. At this time, it does not appear that it is likely to happen!
While the news media and the public may speculate that the royals feel that Meghan is too “Hollywood”, no one in the family has made a statement expressing their disapproval! This makes us extremely happy, because we just love Meghan and her rule-bending ways, and we don’t want to see her change a bit!
