Will There Be a Season 6 of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars?’ Fans Call for the Return of This Season 12 Finalist

With 12 seasons released and available for binge-watching, some fans are looking to the future of this reality competition show. What’s next for RuPaul’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars? Here’s who some fans are hoping will return to the Werk Room for future episodes of RuPaul’s spinoff series.

It’s time to find out which queen will have her portrait hanging in the “Drag Race Hall of Fame.” Hot off the heels of season 12’s finale, RuPaul released the newest season of his spinoff series, RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars. Now, performers like Jujubee, Blair St. Clair, and Shea Couleé will face off for their second chance to prove they have charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent.

However, some Drag Race fans are already looking forward to future episodes of this reality competition show. Unfortunately, RuPaul and World of Wonder haven’t released any details regarding season 6 of All-Stars. That doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t happen, though.

There’s no word regarding future episodes of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ and ‘All-Stars’

Even if a secret season of All-Stars was in the works, pre-production, and casting have presumably paused due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It’s this same reason that the season 12 finale and reunion moved online.

As a result, any future RuPaul’s Drag Race episodes, whether they be for season 13 or All-Stars 6, won’t premiere for a few months. A pretty good indication of which queens will be on the competition is on their social media. Once they go silent for a few weeks, that normally means they’re filming for the series.

Fans shared their hopes for queens returning for ‘All-Stars 6’

Although nothing has been confirmed yet, some fans are already creating their dream cast lists for season 6 of this spinoff series. With over 12 seasons of queens to choose from, a few former Drag Race contestants stand out as “All-Stars.”

From the most recently released season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, season 12, fans are calling for the return of finalists Gigi Goode and Crystal Methyd. That’s especially because of all the problems faced by these queens throughout their season and afterward. (Trying to find gigs through a pandemic is a little challenging.)

“I LOVE Gigi but Jaida won that. Period. I’m tired of all the hate and bitterness in this fandom. Can’t we all just love and support every queen? We will see Gigi slay All-Stars,” one Twitter user said.

“Two of my favs in one episode. Now I need Vanjie, Alyssa, Trixie, Yvie, Blair, Gigi and Shangela in All-Stars. That’s my squad,” another Twitter user wrote, commenting on the new All-Stars rules and the returning “lip-sync assassins.”

Presumably, more information regarding future seasons will be announced in the coming months. Until then, fans can watch new episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars 5 on the television network, VH1.
