You’ll Never Guess What These Celebrities and Billionaires Make Per Hour
While many of us are trying to rub together our pennies to make sure that our rent and mortgages are paid, celebrities have the luxury of making money on top of money. While some of us are fighting to raise the minimum wage rate, celebrities and billionaires are dropping astounding amounts of cash on things like skin products, fresh flowers, and luxurious vacations.
Though accountants and lawyers often discuss things like rates and billable hours, nothing they are bringing to the table compares to what movie stars, reality starlets, heiresses, and billionaires can bring to the table every hour on the hour. You might be well aware of the folks who sit atop the Forbes highest paid lists each year, but we bet you never considered the amount of money they bring home by the hour.

The fact that Beyoncé is sitting at the bottom of this list for hourly rate should really blow your mind. The legendary songstress has dipped her toe into nearly everything from music to fashion and even in acting. Now, the mother of three is focusing on the music. She’s currently on tour with her rapper hubby JAY Z. She’s also put a lot behind her charity, BeyGood and her production company, Parkwood Entertainment.
According to Forbes, the Lemonade vocalist is worth an astounding $355 million. However, according to Business Insider who divided her net worth by 8,760, which is the number of hours in a year, the queen racks in about, $6,849 hourly.

15. Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift might not be known for her vocals alone, but she can certainly write the heck out of a song, and she’s also been known to be a shrewd businesswoman, even when she’s not exactly being kind to her fans. The Reputation singer is currently on tour, which means between ticket sales and merchandise, she is bringing home a pretty penny. She’s also appeared in Apple commercials and other things.
The songstress is worth upwards of $380 million bringing her hourly pay to around, $9,132, just a few hundred dollars short of ten grand.

LeBron James is a legendary basketball player and has been making his coins since he was 18 years old when he first joined the National Basketball Association. The NBA star has played for the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers and now he’s on the West Coast as a Los Angeles Laker. However, his interests go well beyond basketball.
With a net worth of $440 million, James has diversified his portfolio, producing shows, opening a school, and everything in between. And yet, even with his NBA salary, and endorsements he makes $9,760 hourly. A massive sum for many of us, but a drop in the bucket for some on this list.

Who doesn’t love comedian and LGBTQ activist Ellen DeGeneres? DeGeneres has slayed on her long-running talk show since 2003, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon. Long before she was dancing with former President Barack Obama or highlighting amazing people around the country, DeGeneres was a comedian on her own sitcom Ellen.
With a net worth of $400 million, the bubbly host makes about $9,988 each hour which isn’t too shabby for The Finding Dory actress.

We dare you to go to the movie theater and try and find a movie that Dwayne Johnson isn’t currently in. Ok, so we might be exaggerating just a tad, but between Ballers which has been on HBO since 2015, the gazillion movies he did in 2017, the trillion more he did in 2018 and everything coming down his pipeline, we’re just trying to figure out how Johnson finds the time.
Between this and being a dad to three daughters, Johnson is making his $220 million and growing net worth continue to rise and work for him. Since he’s bringing home, $14,155 an hour, we’d say he isn’t doing too bad.

Though there has been much debate about whether she is “self-made” or not, we do know that Kylie Jenner who is the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan is well on her way to billionaire status. The 21-year-old has been a staple on Keeping Up with the Kardashians since it began in 2007.
However, she made a mark for herself when she started Kylie Cosmetics a few years ago, and money has been stacking every since. Stormi’s mom is worth upward of $900 million and every hour she sacks another $19,006.

As a diverse actor who isn’t afraid to direct or produce, George Clooney has had one of the longest-lasting careers in Hollywood. In 2018, Clooney was the highest paid Hollywood actor without starring in a single film. That’s because in addition to Hollywood the dapper actor has learned to put his money in many baskets.
This year, Clooney and his friend Rande Gerber, sold their tequila company Casamigos for nearly $1 billion. It’s no wonder then that Clooney has been able to total up $27,283 each hour.

You might not know Meg Whitman by name, but you will undoubtedly know her for her track record. She has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hewlett Packard Enterprise and eBay. She’s also been an executive at Disney, a political candidate, and a philanthropist. Whitman is the fifth wealthiest women in California with a net worth of $3.2 billion.
Whitman is putting her Harvard and Princeton University degrees to good use by making, $102,739 hourly.

Jack Dorsey may no longer be collecting a salary from Twitter or from his other company, Square, Inc., but the businessman and billionaire has been able to stack his coins in spite of that. While he’s working to influence the social media space and change the things that have plagued Twitter, Dorsey is still worth $5.1 billion which means he’s bringing home about $205,479 every 60 minutes.

Bill Gates certainly isn’t your average billionaire. Though he gave us the tech giant that is Microsoft, Gates has also been a massive humanitarian and philanthropist. Gates is worth $95.4 billion, but he’s also given away $35 billion to charity. Despite his charitable contributions, Gates is letting is money make money for him.
These days he’s bringing home nearly a half a million dollars per hour.

A notorious workaholic, who might need to consider taking a vacation in the very near future makes $684,931 an hour. Surely any holiday he would take wouldn’t hurt his pockets too badly.

The ninth richest person on the globe, Page has an astounding net worth of $53.6 billion. Honestly, we don’t even know what we’d begin to purchase with that kind of wealth.
Though he only brings home one buck a year from Alphabet, Page technically makes $924,657 on the hour.

Mega-investor Warren Buffett certainly isn’t your average billionaire. He still enjoys delicious fast food, has pledged to give away 99% of his fortune, and he’s been vocal about supporting more liberal-leaning policies. He also still lives in a regular middle-class home in his hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. Still, that doesn’t mean Buffett doesn’t know how money works.
His genius investments have garnered him a net worth of $84 billion making him the third wealthiest person on the planet. It makes sense then that he would pull in nearly $1 million each hour.

Owning $11 billion in Walmart shares, Walton’s net worth sits at $41.8 billion. An art enthusiast and a Democrat in a family of Republicans, Walton walks to the beat of her own drum.
With the explosion of Wal-Marts across the globe, Walton pulls in about $1,392,694 on the hour.

Bezos brings home about $4,474,885 each hour, not bad for a man the called a cold-blooded titan.
