YouTube: What is Try Guy, Zach Kornfeld’s Net Worth?

Zach Kornfeld, a member of The Try Guys, may seem like a funnyman, but there is more to the content creator than meets the eye. An intellectual with a penchant for self-deprecating humor, part of Kornfeld’s brand, both at Buzzfeed and now with 2nd Try LLC has always been his inept attempt at life and love. Kornfeld, however, is killing it in both his personal and professional life, and he has amassed a fortune to go with it.

What is Zach Kornfeld’s net worth?

Still in his 20’s the content creator has made a serious mark on the world so far. Not only did he recently strike out with his business partners to begin an independent production company, but he has several independent projects going, as well. His hard work and tendencies to strive for success have helped the young content guru amass a net worth of around $2 million.

According to Social Blade, Kornfeld, along with his partners Keith Habersberger, Eugene Lee Yang and Ned Fulmer made around $3 million from their YouTube videos last year. The team also has a healthy Patreon following and a variety of projects in the works that will lead to more profit for the fledgling company.

Zach before Buzzfeed

While Kornfeld is primarily known for his work at Buzzfeed, the Emerson College graduate has been involved in a variety of projects. A self-proclaimed workaholic, Kornfeld first got interested in content creation when he received Lego Movie Maker as a child growing up in New York. He filmed a variety of videos as a high school student before moving onto college where he studied video production.

According to Entertainment Monthly, Kornfeld felt like an outsider in the New York suburbs where he grew up. Scarsdale, one of the most affluent towns in the country, is heavily sports-focused for kids. The popularity of baseball, soccer, and lacrosse left Kornfeld out in the cold. He noted he is completely unathletic and hated all things sports, making him feel worthless in his youth.

He found his footing at Emerson College, where creative minds tend to gravitate. Upon completion of his Bachelor of Fine Arts, Kornfeld left the eastern seaboard to try his luck out in Los Angeles. The 28-year-old YouTube star admits he had initially had his sites set on traditional directing, but the online medium seems to suit his style and lifestyle best.

Opening up his personal life to public scrutiny

While working at Buzzfeed, Kornfeld was primarily involved in the production of The Try Guys series, but also appeared in a variety of videos geared towards the single population. Long considered perpetually single, in 2017, the content creator shared some pretty significant news; he is actually in a long-term relationship.

While Kornfeld’s girlfriend Maggie isn’t in the production world nor has she appeared in a ton of videos, the content guru wanted the world to know that he was not, in fact, single AF. Sharing a life, an apartment, and a dog, Kornfeld discussed his love in a lengthy YouTube video. According to Heavy, Maggie has been featured in Kornfeld’s Instagram posts before he officially announced their coupledom.

The former Buzzfeed employee has also delved into his medical issues with his fanbase to offer a bit more transparency. Diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, Kornfeld has begun documenting the struggles he faced before and during the diagnosis; noting that Maggie has been an enormous source of strength during the process.
