6 Pairs of Ripped Jeans You Can Wear on Casual Friday
When you really think about it, there are very few places where you can’t wear a pair of jeans. In fact, a study conducted by online retailer Littlewoods.com, which looked at British style preferences, found that not only does denim rate higher among luxurious fabrics like leather, fur, and wool, but they found that denim is no longer considered just a casual option, it’s so much more than that. The study, which was reported by the Daily Mail, found that nearly a quarter of British men wear jeans practically everyday, about 312 days out of the year or more, but on average, they don jeans on 181 of them.
Surprisingly, the research also revealed that denim’s status has elevated, finding that one in 11 men, or approximately 9%, say that they consider it acceptable to wear jeans to a job interview. What’s more, 40% of 35 to 44 year old’s are wearing denim to the office daily. It doesn’t seem like we’ll be pledging our allegiance to any other piece of clothing that has such deep sartorial history as denim.
If you’re lucky enough to be able to wear jeans to your place of business everyday, then in a way, every day is Casual Friday, but if not, this guide is for you.
